🌟 Let’s Connect: A Community Mental Health Event and Introducing the “Zoo theory of human distress”🌟
🗓️ Thursday 25th September
📍 Live Well Centre
⏰ 10:30am – 12:30pm

Join us for Let’s Connect, a powerful and thought-provoking gathering designed to break isolation, build meaningful relationships, and spark a new conversation around mental health — one that’s rooted in connection, compassion, and deeper understanding.

💬 What’s Different About This Session?
We’ll be exploring the “Zoo Theory of Human Distress” — a compelling lens on how modern environments and lifestyles can create emotional and psychological suffering. This session will link the theory to:

🌆 Urban planning
🌳 Eco-psychology
🏘️ Community mental health

Through this, we’ll examine how the “human zoo” — the artificial, disconnected, and overstimulating environments we live in — might be contributing to widespread distress, and how we can begin to reclaim our mental wellbeing through connection, community, and co-creation.

✨ What to Expect:
• Eye-opening introductions to the Zoo Theory and its relevance to our lives today
• 🌱 Tools and conversations around mental wellness and resilience
• 🤝 A space to be seen, heard, and supported
• 🌍 Collaborative ideas to reshape how our communities support mental health

Whether you’ve felt overwhelmed by city life, disconnected from nature, or simply want to explore how we can heal together — this event is for you.

📣 Let’s turn connection into a movement.
Let’s rethink mental health through the lens of place, purpose, and people.
Let’s transform our communities — together.

✅ RSVP now and bring someone who deserves to feel connected.
