🐾 800 FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS! THANK YOU! ❤️

Wow! 800 followers! We honestly can't thank you all enough for your continued support.

It's been a particularly challenging few months for our little shop, with unexpected closures, staffing difficulties, changes to our opening hours and even having to temporarily go card-only. There have certainly been times when things haven't been easy, but one thing that has remained constant is the kindness and support we've received from our wonderful customers and local community.

Whether you've donated, shopped with us, shared our posts, recommended us to friends, entered our fundraising activities, stopped for a chat or simply followed along on Facebook, every single bit of support means the world to us.

Behind every sale, every donation and every kind word is a little more help for the pets and people who need PDSA. ❤️

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has stuck by us, especially during the tougher times. You're helping us keep people and pets together, and we couldn't do it without you.

Here's to the next 800! 🐾

From all of us at PDSA Hartlepool, THANK YOU! ❤️

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ

We would like to reassure all our lovely customers and supporters that PDSA Hartlepool is NOT closing down – we are here to stay!❤️🐾

Following our temporary closure for nearly three weeks in September due to staff sickness and annual leave, we understand that some of you may have questions or concerns. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify our current opening arrangements and put any rumours to rest.

🕒 OUR CURRENT OPENING DAYS

We are currently open every day except Thursday and Sunday. These temporary arrangements allow our existing team to have their essential days off while we recruit a temporary Assistant Manager to support the shop.

There are also some outstanding annual leave days for our manager to take. Should we need to close on any additional days, we will keep you informed through this page.

💳 TEMPORARILY CARD ONLY

We are also aware that some customers have questions about our current payment arrangements. For the past few weeks, we have been operating on a card-only basis. Unfortunately, the alternative would have been to close the shop completely until we are able to accept cash again, and we wanted to remain open to continue serving our wonderful customers and raising vital funds for PDSA.

We hope to be able to accept cash again shortly, and any updates regarding the return of cash payments will be announced on this page. Thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

🙏 PLEASE HELP US BY SHARING FACTS, NOT RUMOURS

We are aware that some misinformation has been circulating, and we kindly ask that you do not feed into speculation. We will communicate any changes to our opening arrangements or payment methods directly through this page, so please check here for the most up-to-date information.

We are incredibly grateful for your patience, continued support and understanding while we work through this period of change.

Every purchase, donation and visit helps us support the vital work of PDSA and the pets and people who depend on us. We look forward to welcoming you into the shop on our opening days!

We are open, we are recruiting, and we are here to stay!❤️🐶🐱

Thank you for continuing to support your local PDSA charity shop. Every sale wags a tail! 🐾
