And just like that another year comes to a close.!

✨ What a Year It’s Been for Fibro-Connect TS! ✨

As we reflect on the past year, we are incredibly proud of everything Fibro-Connect TS has achieved alongside our amazing community 💜

Thanks to vital support and funding, we’ve been able to:

🦋 Expand our support for people living with chronic pain and fatigue to both Stockton and Redcar
🦋 Deliver safe, welcoming drop-in support spaces across Teesside
🦋 Employ 3 part-time staff members to strengthen our services and reduce pressure on our volunteers
🦋 Focus on impact – ensuring people feel heard, understood, and less alone
🦋 Successfully progress our journey to becoming a registered charity

Behind every milestone are real people — people finding connection, understanding, and hope while living with conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

Saturday has rolled around and it’s the perfect chance to slow things down a bit. The week can take a lot out of you when you’re dealing with fibro, so today is about giving yourself room to breathe. Whether you’re resting, catching up on something you enjoy, or just taking the day steady, make it work for your body. A quiet, steady Saturday can do wonders💜

Friday is finally here and it’s a good moment to take stock of how the week has actually felt for you. Living with fibro means some days hit harder than others, and that’s not a failure on your part, it’s just the reality of your body doing its best. Try to move through today at a pace that feels manageable, not rushed. Give yourself space to reset, breathe, stretch, or rest if you need it. Small bits of balance make a bigger difference than we realise. You’ve pushed through another full week and that deserves some credit. Keep going, you’re doing alright.💜

Thursday already and Christmas is creeping closer. This time of year can be full on, so take a minute today to slow the pace and enjoy something small that feels cosy or calm. A warm drink, your favourite music, a quiet five minutes. Little bits of comfort make a big difference when you’re managing fibro, especially in the run-up to Christmas.🎅💜

Here at Fibro-Connect TS, we know it's not all sunshine and rainbows,. The endless fatigue, brain fog, muscle pains and any other amounts of silent symptoms can take a huge toll on your body.

Over the Christmas period, things can become stressful and feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, but you aren't alone.

Take it easy, step back and take a break. Don't let the stress of Christmas eat you up. We are here.

We hope you had a relaxing weekend and getting into the holiday cheer. This weekend is our Christmas party at the Rift House Community Centre 7-11pm. Team Fibro-Connect TS are hopeful to see many of you there.

Sunday is a good day to reset before the new week begins, if fibro has left you tired or foggy give yourself permission to rest without guilt, December can be full on so slow moments matter, what is one thing you are doing today to recharge or find a bit of calm, your idea might help someone else ease into the week ahead, we cannot wait to see you all this week at group. 💜

Weekends can feel like a mix of rest and catch up especially when you live with fibro, try to give yourself permission to slow down and enjoy the little moments today, maybe a warm drink maybe some Christmas lights or even a quiet hour to yourself, what is one thing you are doing today to look after your body and your mind, share it with us and inspire someone else to take a break too💜
