Thank you for those who attended the FOKPS Agm.......

We have FABULOUS NEWS..... We have two new appointed Committee members who have kindly agreed to take FOKPS forward together....

We still have positions available on the committee, if your interested or want to be involved get in touch... REMEMBER this is as little or as much as you want to be involved... Inbox or email if this could be you!

As we transition to new begginings, there will be a period of handover in coming months..... Emilie de Bruijn, Dawn McDonald, Sammi Reay and Hayley Carroll have been privileged to have been part of FOKPS from creation and helped create something amazing.... Leigh Jarvis and Caroline Ashley will remain to support the new trustees....

On that note we would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all our trustees, volunteers, school and supporters.... We have had a blast and done what we set out to do since 2023....now we pass the baton, as we concentrate on our careers and children who have left the Kingsley family to go to secondary school.

Date is confirmed for our Annual General meeting...... 4th June 3pm at Kingsley Primary School family Centre....

The time has come to pass the baton of Chair, Treasurer and Secretary..... If this could be you why not attend our AGM and put yourself forward.....tell us your vision to continue the ethos of FOKPS.

if positions aren't filled then unfortunately FOKPS will come to an end....

FOKPS have prided themselves on inclusivity founded on strong links built with the children, school, families and the local community....

With strong foundations built and being in a position to leave with application for the school mini bus being completed those who helped set up and have ran FOKPS leave with a great sense of achievement.

But most of all we have created some great opportunities and memories made with the children, their families and school.

As Chair I would like to thank those who have continued to strive, commit and raise funds for FOKPS at times this has been tough but from nothing we created something great, opportunities and resources that without your hard work it wouldn't have been possible.

Please get in touch if this could be you and/or come along on the 4th.

Please confirm if you intend to attend so we can ensure room and space availability.

FRIENDS OF KINGSLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL NEED YOU!

It's sad to say that due to demands of our current jobs and family life have led to the very difficult decision of the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary making the decision to step down at our next AGM.

This means these positions will be up for election, if you have the drive, time, and desire to help raise money for our children and school to support wider access to activities and oppurtunities get in touch via Facebook or email.....for a chat or expression of interest.

We are remarkably proud and thankful for the dedication and support from Hayley Carroll, Emilie de Bruijn and Dawn McDonald in helping raise over £19k since starting FOKPS and enabling the application to be started for the school minibus. As well as the support of those who have volunteered at events and not forgetting Sammi Reay our original secretary.

Thanks to Leigh Jarvis and Caroline Ashley who will remain part of FOKPS team in a supportive role.
