Hopkins is a bright & welcoming cafe serving fresh cakes, light meals, hot and cold drinks.

Hopkins @ Horticap was named to honour our former student, Peter Hopkins, whose legacy helped to make our new facilities possible.

Hopkins' tables won't clear themselves, so it's lucky we have helpers like student Alistair to make sure they're clean for the next customers. www.horticap.org/hopkins-cafe

We now have a range of Voakes Pies Yorkshire bacon and sausage for sale. Straight from the farm at Whixley. Delicious for a weekend breakfast.❤️👨‍🍳 www.horticap.org/hopkins-cafe

🎃 👻 This half term, why not bring the little ones to spend some time in our Halloween-themed nature trail, which is completely free? The bunnies are having a great time (thanks to volunteer Joan)! 🐰 You can treat them to an ice cream or hot chocolate in Hopkins afterwards. www.horticap.org

25/10/2026

Horticap and Hopkins will be open as usual today, however for health & safety reasons, the nature trail will be closed. 💨

Students Allan, Mark and Scott were having fun working together in Hopkins! www.horticap.org/hopkins-cafe

Just look at the happy faces on Scott and Benjamin! They were really happy with all the plants they'd potted, but they were ready to take on even more! Great job, both of you! www.horticap.org

Hopkins gets through a heap of tea towels, but that doesn't bother Simon! He's always happy to keep a clean supply available! Thanks, Simon! www.horticap.org/hopkins-cafe
