THIS WEEKEND: ASDA BAG PACKING - PLEASE HELP WHERE YOU CAN!

Our annual Christmas bag packing weekend starts tomorrow, and it is a vital fundraiser for our group.

Young People: We hope all our Young People can come and help pack bags for a 2-hour shift over the weekend. It's fun, festive, and makes a huge difference!

PLEASE HELP & SUPPORT OUR VIRTUAL BALLOON RACE !
We are raising funds for our Scout Group and as part of this have arranged this virtual balloon race to give you and opportunity of winning an Amazon gift voucher to the value of £50, delivered just in time for Xmas along with a £40 Greggs Vouchers for 2nd place and a £25 Voucher for 3rd Place!

With over 100 young persons within 3rd Harrogate Scout Group we aim to offer a wide range of activities and opportunities throughout the year for young people aged between 6 and 18.....and we can only do this with much needed funds and this is where your help and support will come in!

Tickets for the Balloon race are priced at only £3 with a great opportunity to win our prizes of £50, £40 and £25 for the first three balloon to cross the line!

Nidderdale Walk Fundaiser - Sunday 18 May

Our Young People and their families are taking part in the Nidderdale Walk. Scouts and Explorers are looking to do the 15 mile walk, Cubs 8 mile and Beavers 4 mile and we have leaders walking with all groups.

This is to help us raise vital funds needed to continue running the group. Our young people are looking for sponsorship, if you are able to sponsor them please do so on the Just Giving link below.

Thank you to everyone that supported the AGM and Bingo Social last night. We hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Thank you to Russ Hirst for putting together another amazing camp video for us to enjoy. Thanks also to Rocky and his wife Jess for providing the popcorn and candy floss machines, and to Michael and Martin for manning the raffle and Bingo sales.

We have some unclaimed raffle prizes (see last picture). If they are yours please bring your ticket to the hut and a leader will be able to get them for you.

We are looking for Raffle Prizes for our AGM on Saturday, if you have anything that you are able to donate, please bring the donations to your sections session this week and give it to a leader.

This year we're having our AGM alongside a social event at the Bilton Cricket Club from 5pm on Saturday 8 February. All details below.

It would be lovely to see as many of our young members there with their families as possible for this celebration event.

There will be a raffle and fun events going on. If anyone wishes to donate any prizes, please just leave in the box on the benches in the hall before the event.

BAG PACKING FUNDRAISER

We are delighted to announce that we raised £707.43 this weekend, when our young people, parents and leaders packed shopping bags for customers in Asda Harrogate.

Massive thank you to all who helped and to Asda for allowing us to do it.
