Would your young person enjoy experiences like these?

Last weekend we were privileged to take our young people on Group Camp at Bradley Wood. It was a fantastic weekend full of fun, learning and adventure, and we’re so proud of everyone who took part. These photos capture just a few of the brilliant opportunities they had.

If you have a child aged 4–18 and want them to enjoy opportunities like this, we currently have spaces in Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.
For more information, please email [email protected].

🌟 Volunteers’ Week 🌟

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to support our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. You help young people learn new skills, grow in confidence and—most importantly—have fun.

And yes… we know it’s supposed to be “just one hour a week” — thank you for giving far more than that, and doing it with a smile.

Here are some of our team. And if you don’t spot yourself… it probably means you’re either a master at dodging cameras or you’ve already perfected the art of destroying the evidence.

Raising funds for our scout group has become a vital part of our schedule to ensure we can continue to operate and provide an engaging and beneficial program to our young members.

This year we are taking part in the Nidderdale Charity Walk starting in Pateley Bridge on Sunday 17th May 2026.

This event is open to Young People, parents, friends and family of the group and we encourage all young participants to raise sponsorship for the group.

Full details can be found at https://www.nidderdalewalk.com/

We are running groups in 3 distances as follows:

Beavers - 4 miles

Cubs - 8 miles

Scouts/Explorers - 15 miles

We will have groups of leaders on each route
