Your limited edition t shirt orders are on the way!

Our wonderful University of Glasgow interns mastered the process of getting hundreds of orders out as soon as possible. It is not as straightforward as simply asking the postman if they'd like to borrow our trolley - see photo 4 for evidence of the joy experienced 😅

Confirmation selfies of receipt are very much appreciated 💌 🤳 🤗

Thank you to everyone who has made a difference by purchasing. Still a few in stock for any stragglers 🧡

Meet Pete.

And his mate Jo and wonderful nephew. Pete has been volunteering with Refuweegee since covid times. He switches hats as much as the team do, from delivering emergency packs to gathering physical donations, and now fundraising by running 10 x 10ks in a year 💪

We usually show Pete how much we like him in a very Scottish way, by taking the p**s and being generally quite rude 😜 However even we can't avoid telling him this time. You really are rather wonderful pal! Thank you for always showing up, for never turning away when it gets tough and for truly being there for folks who really need it...and I just mean our needy team 😅

Pete has just completed his final 10k today and we want you to show him some love in a variety of ways -

✍️ Get in the comments and tell him what a legend he is

🤑 Check out our stories and top up his JustGiving page

🎟 If you happen to be going to see our pal tattoodave1608
Blackfriars of Bell Street tonight, say congrats in person and buy him a well deserved pint - Guinness is his tipple of choice

We simply cannot do what we do without you!

Calling all passionate cooks! Each week we see hundreds of visitors who don’t have a reliable source of warm, nourishing meals - we try to address this through our community kitchen, where volunteer chefs can cook up their favourite dishes to share with the Refuweegee. If you’d like to be part of our community kitchen volunteer group, please email [email protected]. Volunteer cooks must:
- Be available between 10:30am and 1:30 pm on either Mondays or Fridays
- Have experience cooking for large groups
- Have a basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
