Today marks the start of Myeloma Awareness Week, shining a light on a type of blood cancer that is still not widely understood.

To mark the week, we spoke to Mark, who was diagnosed with myeloma. A writer and lifelong football fan, Mark shares how both writing and football became vital sources of comfort and strength during some of the most challenging moments of his life.

His story is one of resilience, hope, and finding strength in the things that matter most. We believe his experiences and reflections will resonate with many of our readers and offer encouragement to those facing difficult times.

Take a moment to read Mark's story and help us raise awareness of myeloma: https://www.cancercard.org.uk/personal-experiences/mark-s-story-how-football-helped-me-through-my-diagnosis

Today would have been our founders birthday.

Birthdays and special occasions can be difficult when you are missing a loved one. Despite this, we thought it would be an opportunity to remember the amazing work Jen did for the cancer community and the legacy she left behind.

Thank you, Jen. You are dearly missed. ๐Ÿ’›
