Leith Links public toilets update: the drainage works are now complete! 🚾
We are carrying out the final checks needed before the facilities can safely reopen.
This includes inspections of the new drainage system and final operational checks. We are still on track to reopen at the beginning of June.
During the works, a number of unexpected issues were identified on site, including additional repairs and utility works, but the project team has worked hard to keep the programme on track.
Please note that the temporary toilets have now been removed. Unfortunately, repeated incidents of antisocial behaviour made it unsafe to keep them in place for both users and the staff maintaining them.
