Celebration at L’Arche is part of everyday community life, and one of the wonderful things about being part of L’Arche is that celebration can happen anytime, anywhere! 🎉

Here’s a throwback to our Christmas celebration in December 2025, when we spontaneously started singing Christmas carols. John S then decided to jump onto Prakhar and John K’s hands, making the moment even more hilarious! 😂🎄

If you’ve ever been part of a L’Arche celebration, what has been your most memorable moment? ❤️

💙 A warm welcome to Raymond!💙

Raymond is gradually settling into one of our houses called Creelha, and we’re so excited for everyone to get to know him. He loves ballroom dancing, Strictly Come Dancing, musicals and karaoke and he’s even met Giovanni and Aljaž! ⭐ He also tells us he’s “kind of” a good singer and loves Daydream Believer.

We’re looking forward to sharing lots of happy moments and creating wonderful memories together! 🌟💙

Live-ins are one of the most beautiful aspects of L’Arche communities. They are an opportunity for someone to share life, even for a short time, in a home where our core members live, offering support, and, most importantly, the gift of presence.

Live-ins bring with them their own uniqueness, personality, love, stories and individual identity, adding new colours and flavours to the life of the household and making the community even more vibrant.

And in return, live-ins leave L'Arche with something truly special: countless memories, meaningful relationships and connections that can last a lifetime, like a quiet spiritual energy that continues to remind us of the people, moments and love we shared.

This is the beauty of L’Arche, sharing life, creating belonging, and discovering that presence itself can be a gift. 💙

Featuring our lovely live-ins from Creelha: Hendrik, Jana and Sophia

Linda (front left) says you are all lovely. We hope to see you again very soon 🥰

A contingent from Mactalla, our house in Crown, went down to Edinburgh for the day and met up with members of our Scottish sister Community, L'Arche Edinburgh, in Leith. We received wonderful hospitality and had a great visit.

At L’Arche, mealtimes are about more than food, they are a celebration of community, friendship, and belonging. 🌍🍽️

From jollof rice to German breads, Indian curries to a glass of Irn-Bru, our table reflects the rich diversity of our international community. Sharing food, prayers, and conversation reminds us that some of life's most meaningful moments happen around a table together.

What does sharing a meal mean to you? ❤️
