Young people are learning about money every day 💳️

From influencers selling lifestyles to games built for instant purchases, there's a social pressure to keep up with friends.

What they rarely get is the time and space to understand how it shapes their decisions, confidence and mental health.

Me & Money brings those conversations about budgeting and saving into the open, addressing shame, impulse spending, avoidance and the emotions tied to money.

Over recent months, our Carer Peer Support and Hearing Voices groups have welcomed Graham Morgan - Author, writer and Engagement Officer at the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland.

Drawing on his own experience of living with schizophrenia, Graham spoke with an honesty that immediately put people at ease.

Thank you, Graham, for showing the person behind the diagnosis and the importance of making space for every voice.

Most journeys from Edinburgh Airport begin with a boarding pass. This one began with a rowing machine 🚣

Staff and visitors recently rowed a combined distance equal to three Channel crossings, raising more than £2,000 for Change Mental Health along the way!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and cheered the rowers on, and to our partners at Edinburgh Airport for putting mental health support on the departure board 🛫

A personal story can do more than describe an experience or present the impact. It can help someone else feel understood and less alone 🫂

That is what Lee Hutton, an Outreach Worker for our Hearing Voices service in Fife, brings to her peer-support work: connection, trust and reassurance that difficult experiences can be spoken about openly.

Lee’s story and impact on others led to her nomination for The Mental Health Awards and a special Letter of Recognition.

Congratulations, Lee and thank you for the difference you continue to make!

Could you stay focused, play sport and connect with others while hearing distressing voices? ⛳️

At this year’s ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open, golfers tried our immersive experience using audio designed to reflect some of the challenges associated with psychosis and schizophrenia.

Thank you to Movement For Health, Scottish Golf & Dundonald Links for helping us challenge assumptions about enduring mental illness.

Getting better isn't always about therapy or medication. Sometimes, it's a friend who checked in at the right moment, didn't look away and just... stayed.

This , we made something you can send to that person.

"I'm still here because of you."

Tag or send this to the friend who's part of your mental health story, even if they don't know it 💛

Did you know we have a guide to voices and sensory disturbances?

This small booklet gives further information, as well as guidance on how to support yourself and others when managing voices.

It has also been created and updated in partnership with people who are supported by our Hearing Voices service.

📖 We can send you free copies! Email [email protected] and we'll post them. There is also a digital version in the comments.

Being a carer can leave little time to focus on yourself. That's why creating opportunities to connect, build friendships and enjoy time together matters 💙

Thanks to funding from the Community Chest Fund through Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, we're expanding our Carer Support service across Fife.

Alongside one-to-one support, there are shared occasions for peer support and getting to know each other through excursions and connection.

We're taking referrals for unpaid carers supporting someone living with a mental illness. Head to the comments to find out more 👇

At our resource centre in Stranraer, people value many things 🔢

Making friends, trying new activities, structure, a safe space of belonging, and feeling heard and understood.

By supporting the whole person and making them feel more connected to their community, our service helps people recognise their strengths and reconnect with community at a pace that works for them.
