We played our 12th and final game in the Pickleball Scotland North League today. Pickleball Aberdeen outplayed us and ended up winning 6-3 with some very close games that could’ve gone either way

Great to see to the new HEAD Foam Pro ball in action! Our Inclusion Officer,
Sandra Macrae, has been testing this soft ball and says it is the perfect silent option for quieter activities, sound-sensitive participants, and practice situations when regular balls are too loud. Same size and bounce, feels like the real deal, just less noise 👍

Well done to the 18 enthusiastic participants who attended our Pickleball Scotland Ambassador workshop in Edinburgh. 🏓✨
Led by our brilliant Coach Development Team members Graeme Matheson, Fiona Moncur and Sandra Macrae, it was a fantastic education event packed with practical learning, knowledge-building and sharing, and skills development for delivery of the Ambassador role in communities and clubs across the country.
​A special thanks to David Lloyd Corstorphine for their warm welcome and hosting us at their excellent facilities.

We were delighted to be invited to deliver a private Coaching Clinic for 12 players at Glenwood High School, Glenrothes.
This 2-hour session was delivered by Pickleball Scotland Senior Club Coaches John Macrae and Jenny Tattersall. We look forward to working with this group again - they were a fantastic set of enthusiastic players! 😀👏

​If you’d like to give the sport a go, we’re running two more facilitated 'Introduction to Pickleball' sessions:

​We are thrilled to celebrate a major milestone for our sport as the very first coaches successfully complete the Pickleball Scotland Senior Club Coach Qualification:

​Growing Our Education Pathway
​Introduced to the Pickleball Scotland Education Pathway in 2025, this advanced qualification is designed to elevate coaching standards and support the rapid growth of pickleball across the country.

​Current Progress: An additional 13 Club Coaches are actively working toward achieving this prestigious award.

Fantastic effort from DL WE Warrior Sahil Jaidka to bring home the silver medal in Mens Singles 3.0 35+ at the English Open! 🥈
Excellent play in a competitive field of players, well deserved!

Honourable mention goes to Warriors Mhari Mcnaught and Stephanie Crawford who made it to the semi-finals of the Womens Doubles 3.5 15+. That podium has your name on it next year ladies!
