By supporting our More Than A Hospice appeal, we can raise £20m to transform children’s hospice care. 💛 We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland, but you can call us CHAS. We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions. And, we're here for their whole family. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.

Recently our Therapeutic Play Team took nine siblings to Wiston Lodge in Biggar for an action-packed adventure filled with archery, bushcraft, canoeing, Go Ape, fire building, ice cream, delicious food and plenty of time exploring the great outdoors...

It was amazing to watch everyone throw themselves into new experiences, build confidence and even overcome some of their fears.

Most of all, it was wonderful to see the kindness, friendship and support they showed one another throughout the weekend.

From cheering each other on to sharing lots of laughs, they made memories to last a lifetime. 💛

Eleven-year-old Quinns and his family have been supported by CHAS since 2023, finding not only specialist care at Rachel House, but a place where they can rest, recharge and simply be a family.

After receiving a diagnosis of a rare genetic condition, life brought many challenges.

But Quinns continues to shine with his infectious smile, adventurous spirit and incredible artistic talent. 🌈

From splashing in the paddling pool and relaxing in the whirlpool bath, to creating stunning artwork using his eye gaze technology, CHAS helps Quinns experience the joy of childhood while giving his family the respite and support they need. 💛

You too can help support children like Quinns - head to the link in our comments to see how.

Some of our families recently headed under the sea in St Andrews 🧜‍♂️

We were invited to the Old Course Hotel for their second CHAS family day - this year with an amazing under the sea theme!

Families enjoyed a beautiful buffet lunch, circus skills, dancing, face painting, storytelling and yoga at the amazing day in the lovely surroundings of the famous Scottish landmark.

You can tell from Quinns smiling face that it certainly made a splash! 🌊

Thank you, Old Course Hotel, for another wonderful day! 🪼
