We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the fantastic team at Cirium for organising and taking part in a volunteering day at Aerobility recently.

Despite the rain showers, the team got straight to work, cleaning windows, doors, floors, and even giving the Aerobility van a well-deserved wash!

Days like these mean so much to us. Not only do they give us the opportunity to connect with other organisations, but they also provide invaluable hands-on support. During our busy summer season, this kind of help makes a real difference and allows us to focus on delivering life-changing flying experiences for our beneficiaries.

Hosted by TECgirls, this family-friendly event is packed with aviation, aerospace, and engineering fun. Step inside real aircraft, get hands-on with engineering activities, discover how planes are designed and built, and explore the incredible technology that keeps them soaring through the skies.

16 cars. Less than £1,000 each. Nearly 2,000 miles covered. 5 breakdowns. And one car left stranded in France!

The Monte Carlo or Bust Rally has been an unforgettable adventure, and we're thrilled to celebrate the safe and triumphant return of everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to every single participant who helped make this incredible challenge such a success. Together, the team has raised almost £25,000 for four fantastic charities: Jack The Lad, Kidney Care UK, Thames Hospice and Aerobility.

A special shout-out goes to our very own Aerobility drivers, Ollie and Pete, who did brilliantly throughout the rally. We couldn't be prouder of what they've achieved.

Last week, we were incredibly proud to be presented with the King's Award for Voluntary Service. Often described as the “MBE for volunteer groups”, this prestigious honour recognises the extraordinary contribution our volunteers make to transforming lives through aviation.

At a special presentation during Volunteers’ Week, we were delighted to receive the award from the Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, alongside our volunteers, staff, supporters, friends and local MP Alex Brewer For North East Hampshire who attended this special day to show her support.

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether supporting flying activities, delivering education programmes, fundraising, advocating for accessibility, or helping maintain our sites, their dedication makes it possible for disabled people to experience the magic of flight and discover what they can achieve.

This award belongs to every volunteer who has given their time, energy and passion to Aerobility. Thank you for helping us inspire confidence, independence and ambition within the disabled community. We simply could not do what we do without you.

Four days. Dozens of smiles. Memories to last a lifetime.

Over four incredible days at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, we had the privilege of bringing the magic of flight to local disabled people through a series of free introductory flights designed to do one simple thing: make people smile. This initiative would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of some fantastic partners. Every single person who helped, shared the same belief that the freedom, excitement and inspiration of aviation should be accessible to everyone. Seeing participants take to the skies, many for the very first time, and witnessing the smiles, laughter and confidence that followed, reminded us exactly why our mission matters.

Thank you to everyone who flew with us, volunteered, supported the event and helped make it such a success. We look forward to creating many more opportunities like this across the country for disabled people to discover the magic of flight.
