🖨️ New Recycling Initiative at the Repair Café! 🌍☕️

Did you know you can now recycle your used ink cartridges with us and help raise funds for us via Recycle4Charity?

We are now collecting ink cartridges at all of our monthly Repair Café sessions! When bringing them along, please ensure they are in secure packaging so they don’t leak.

While you're dropping them off, why not make a morning of it? Bring along a beloved broken item to be fixed by our skilled repairers, or simply join us for a warm cuppa and a slice of cake in our friendly, welcoming café. 🍰🛠️

We can't wait to see you at our next session!

Recycle4Charity is a free and easy to use inkjet recycling programme, that helps its thousands of members raise funds for charity and non-profit organisations.

What a buzz at Saturday's Repair Café Yateley! 🛠️✨

We had a record-breaking session, saving dozens of much-loved items from landfill! Our amazing team worked wonders on everything from kitchen gadgets and electronics to clothing and toys. A huge thank you to everyone who brought their items to us!

This incredible effort wasn't just about the brilliant repairers. We couldn't do it without our incredible reception and triage team, our critical PAT tester, the wonderful WI café crew, and all the behind-the-scenes helpers who set up, cleared away and supported us in many different ways on Saturday. You are all inspiring!

We’re already looking forward to our next session in September. See you then! 👋

🛠️ Give Your Broken Items a Second Chance TODAY! 🛠️

Got a broken toy, a sluggish laptop, a toaster that stopped working, a favoorite lamp that won't light up, clothing with a tear, or a wobbly piece of furniture? Don't throw them away - bring them down to Repair Café Yateley today! We don't charge, but we do ask for a donation towards our running costs.

Join our skilled local volunteers and, if you'd like to, learn new fixing skills alongside our team and help keep useful things out of the landfill. Together, we can save money, reduce waste and build a stronger, more sustainable community! 💻🌿✨

Look at this fantastic repair!🪑✨

This beautiful handmade stool was skilfully restrung by one of our talented volunteers, Peter, who had never attempted a woven repair like this before. It just goes to show how passionate and adaptable our amazing team of repairers really are! No matter the challenge, they are always ready to turn their hand to learning new skills and giving much-loved items a second life.

We’re excited to be joining the Yateley Society at the Blackbushe Heritage Trust Open Day at Blackbushe Airport.

If you’re curious about Repair Café Yateley — how it works, what we repair, and how our brilliant volunteers help keep treasured items in use and out of landfill — come and have a chat with us. We won’t be repairing items at this event, but we’ll be sharing what we do and how you can get involved.

We’re always looking for people with practical skills who enjoy fixing things, solving problems, or tinkering with everyday objects. If that sounds like you, come along and talk to us about becoming a volunteer repairer. It’s a friendly, rewarding way to support the community.

You can also explore the Yateley Society’s fascinating display on the history of Blackbushe Airport — from its origins as RAF Hartford Bridge, through its strategic role in WW2 and D‑Day, to royal visits and personal stories.

Another great session at Repair Cafe Yateley today! 🛠️✨

We helped our community bring some of their their beloved items back to life. It is always such a joy to see people leave with a smile on their face as their treasures are saved from the tip.

Our talented fixers were kept very busy, successfully repairing items such as:
* Backpacks
* A child’s favourite jumper
* A foldable chair
* A wooden stool
* A coffee machine
* Our own small, cordless chainsaw used by our conservation volunteers!

We didn’t repair a single vacuum cleaner today! A first for us! 🤣

A huge thank you to ALL our brilliant volunteers for their hard work and dedication. We must also send a massive shout-out to the Yateley and Yateley Green WI, who once again looked after our thirsty crew and visitors so well with their truly delicious tea, coffee and homemade cakes.

We're delighted to announce that we are currently planning a series of workshops! We will be covering topics such as sewing skills, vacuum cleaner maintenance, computer housekeeping and much more.

​It's almost time! We're back this morning, ready to help you save your beloved items from landfill. Drop by with your broken items from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Yateley Industries, Mill Lane.

​As well as being excited to announce that we can now help with computer repairs (hardware & software), our team of expert volunteers is also ready to tackle all sorts of other treasures:

​toaster & small kitchen gadgets
​🧸 Toys & household goods
​🧵 Clothing & textiles.

​Bring your stuff along and enjoy some great coffee, cake and a chat in our lovely cafe too!

We're passionate about keeping usable items out of landfill, so our repairs are free but to help us with our running costs, we appreciate donations.
