Halloween Week: Day 2 🎃🧡

We went on a pumpkin hunt today! Little explorers on a mission to find all the hidden pumpkins across the nursery and school! 🔍✨

After lots of searching, excitement and teamwork, we managed to find them all! 🤩

Of course, no pumpkin hunt would be complete without a little treat at the end to say WELL DONE! 🍬👏

What a spook-tacular adventure everybody had! 👻🎃

Kicking off Halloween week with some pumpkin fun! 🎃✨

Today, Owls & Woodpeckers explored pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, colours and textures, before getting creative and drawing our very own pumpkin masterpieces! 🧡 From bumpy to smooth, big to small, every pumpkin was unique!

Today we celebrated the start of England’s 2026 World Cup journey! Owlets did a super fun penalty shoot and cheered “gooooal”. ⚽️

Owls, Woodpeckers and Pre-School all enjoyed some face painting and of course, everyone loved the dance party to finish off the day. 🏆❤️

Owls have been learning all about minibeasts over the past few weeks !🐞🐛🪲🐜

They’ve been crafting to decorate their own colourful snails as well as creating their own spiders! The children chose how many legs and eyes their spiders had! 👀😆

We’ve spent time outside in our forest school area to look for different minibeasts. We found lots of ants, spiders and even a worm! 🪱

One of our termly topics in Pre School is “ transport”, so today the children were able to bring in their bikes or scooters! We had a fabulous time outside with our friends, scooting and cycling! The children were so good at navigating the space on the play ground too! A super Friday! Have a lovely weekend everybody!🩷

We’ve had a busy week in Pre School! The badgers and Hedgehogs have been exploring colour mixing, gardening and growth, working on our maths skills, cooking, as well as sharing our half term holiday photos and as always having fun outside!⭐️😀

POLICE CAR VISIT 🚓🚨👮

We had some very special visitors at our nursery today! The children loved meeting our local police officers, exploring a real police car and even the flashing lights! 🚨

They taught us all about road safety and how they keep us safe every day. Future police officers in the making! 👮‍♂️🚓✨

A massive thank you for one of our wonderful parents who took the time to come and visit us along with her colleague!❤️

🐝 WORLD BEE DAY 🐝

Our little Owls have been busy bees today!

We practiced our fine motor skills by using yellow and black pencils to decorate these beautiful bees.💛

While colouring, they recognised colours (finding the perfect yellow and black) and pretended to be a bee themselves, by making bee sounds! Lots of "bzzzz" noises!😆

Swipe to see their amazing creations!👆🏼🖤
