The Autism Trust UK The Autism Trust is creating better futures for individuals with autism. An AS Employability & Life Skills Training Centre for 16+ Adults. IMPLEMENTED.
(1)

Our objective is simple: to create a future with purpose for young adults with autism everywhere. The concept is based on providing employment and training opportunities, available at Polly's Place in Camberley, Surrey. UK

The next phases of The Autism Trust involve building a new residential and outreach centre where adults with autism and other related disabilities are provided with expert services to support their health, maximize their skills and talents, offer work and residential living and fundamentally to be healthy, happy, safe and to live a life that's not yet available for them today. PHASE 1
We are providing a much needed support facility to enable individuals with an autism spectrum condition and related disorders an opportunity to develop vocational skills by creating art pieces and crafts that are sold within our boutique social enterprise store Polly's Place in the UK. PHASE 2
Extending and supporting work and vocational opportunities via an additional ASDAN Employability Certification, encompassing manufacturing, retail, office and social media work experiences at the Training Centre. IMPLEMENTED

PHASE 3
Move the UK Head Office to a larger building in order to maximise the number of people with autism we can train in vocational skills. IMPLEMENTED

PHASE 4
Building a new residential and outreach center where adults with an autism spectrum disorder and other related conditions can live safe, healthy and purposeful in the UK.

New SEND Communication Arrangements at Surrey County Council

📅 Update & Follow-Up Session – Wednesday 4th November at 12.30pm.

Thank you to everyone who joined our engagement session in July with Debbie Degnan from the Surrey County Council SEND Team, focusing on the new SEND communication arrangements.
At that session, Debbie offered a follow-up meeting to provide an update now that the new process has been in place for longer, and to hear further feedback from families and professionals.

💻 The follow-up session will take place online on Wednesday 4th November at 12.30pm.

👉 You do not need to have attended the previous session to join us. The session is open to anyone who has been affected by the new arrangements and would like to share their experiences.

📊 Your feedback matters
Before the session, we will be re-running the poll we carried out when the changes were first introduced. Once available, we will share it across our social media channels.

The results will provide valuable statistical data to help highlight areas where challenges remain, as well as any improvements since the previous poll.

We would really encourage families to take part and share their experiences.

‼️Hi everyone,
A quick update regarding this week's Lego & Craft Club.
At the moment, we only have one or two children booked to attend. If numbers don't increase, we may need to cancel this week's session.
We'd love to keep the club running, so if your child is planning to come along, please let us know as soon as possible. 😊
Thank you for your continued support. We know how much the children enjoy getting Lego and being creative together, and we're hoping we'll have enough interest to go ahead as planned.
We'll confirm whether the session is running or cancelled tomorrow.
If booking a place please email: [email protected] ASAP 🙏🏻
🧱🎨 Thank you! 🎨🧱 ‼️
