What makes a great place to learn? 📚

A little imagination can go a long way!

At EvergreenSchool in Warwickshire, a once tired library has been transformed into a welcoming Woodland Library, complete with a learning tree and specially designed murals to help pupils explore, discover and enjoy learning.

With a £13,500 grant from Wooden Spoon Warwickshire, this space is opening up new opportunities for children to learn in a way that works for them. 🤍💙❤️💚

Reflection on a brilliant weekend of collaboration: Friday evening and Saturday marked our annual Wooden Spoon conference at Ashton Gate!

We brought together regional leaders and representatives to discuss strategy, share best practices, and celebrate regional achievements. Hearing directly from regions excelling in areas like corporate support and community engagement provided powerful insights for the year ahead.

Our regional networks are the heartbeat of Wooden Spoon. Their dedication ensures we can continue driving real social impact, giving children and young people the chance to play, learn, thrive, and be safe.

We’re so proud to support the incredible team and pupils at Rondin School! 🏉✨

As the only special primary school on the island, Le Rondin gives children with moderate learning difficulties a safe, inclusive place to thrive. Over the years, we’ve been honoured to help fund their climbing frames, play equipment, and most recently, a brand-new library stocked with books for every single student!

Partner Club Spotlight 🏉

Camberley Rugby Club shows how being a Wooden Spoon Partner Club can make a difference both on and off the pitch.

Through fundraising lunches and raffles, players, members and supporters raised £2,000 for local charities, including Wooden Spoon, while also generating income for the club.

A brilliant example of rugby clubs coming together to fundraise, connect and make a difference. 🤍💙❤️💚
