🚨 The UK Government has just launched a consultation on ending CO₂ gassing of pigs.

Every year, millions of pigs in the UK are lowered into gas chambers, where they gasp, panic and struggle as the CO₂ burns their eyes, nose and lungs.

We’ve been exposing this for three years. Video vans through central London. Billboards. Posters on the Underground. Protested outside Pilgrim’s HQ.

We even handed out vegan sausages and explained the cruelty to people on high streets across the UK.

And now, finally, the Government is listening.

But nothing’s decided yet, and the pig industry is already pushing back.

So we need you. Take two minutes to respond to the consultation, in your own words, and call for a legally binding ban on pig gassing.

Let’s be clear: we support ending CO₂ gassing because it is one of the worst deaths a pig can suffer. But less cruel is not the same as humane. There is no humane way to kill a frightened animal who does not want to die. The only real answer is to stop killing pigs altogether and close the slaughterhouses for good.

Help end CO₂ gassing now. And one day, we can end pig slaughter for good.

Make sure to check the ingredients on sweets to avoid gelatine - plenty of sweets are vegan in all major supermarkets!

This is not just any farm. This is an award-winning, 'high welfare' farm that was RSPCA Assured, supplied M&S, and still supplies Muller.

This is not just any farmer. This is someone who has been nominated for 'Dairy Farmer of the Year' and sits on several dairy industry boards.

🐥 The forgotten victims of the egg industry.

Male chicks can’t lay eggs, so in the egg industry they’re seen as worthless. Within hours of hatching, they’re killed. Every single egg comes from a system where half of the chicks born are discarded.

Most people never see this part. Now you have. 💔

There are so many plant-based ways to bake, cook and eat without eggs, and no chick has to pay for it.

No Egg is a Good Egg. 🌱

Denmark’s animal welfare minister is moving to outlaw these breeds after eight political parties made unprecedented announcements this week.

These birds grow so fast that many suffer painful leg disorders, struggle to walk and are at higher risk of heart failure. ❤️‍🩹

Here in the UK, 9 in 10 chickens eaten in the UK still come from fast-growing frankenchicken breeds.

Britain needs to follow Denmark’s lead. It’s time to ban frankenchickens. 👏
