Have you seen our specially designed community poster that’s part of a new exhibition in the cafe by Poppy Victoria May.

Poppy has a selection of her BS3 prints on show and people can contact her directly for prints through her email, Instagram or Etsy shop. The community poster has been designed by Poppy specifically for BS3 Community Development and all profits from sales of the A5 print will go straight back into the charity so we can keep providing our events and activities for our community. Please visit reception if you wish to buy one.

🎃 Join us for some Halloween fun with LEGO!

Come to our Southville Centre to enjoy a spooky Halloween session of our popular LEGO Club! There will be fun LEGO building challenges and prizes! This session is suitable for age 5+. We have a book & colouring corner to keep younger siblings entertained!

🗓 Structured session with thousands of pieces of LEGO!
Tuesday 27 October, 9.30-11am

It’s just £5 per child (pay on the door), and parents and carers come along free! Just remember to stay and supervise while your child plays and creates.

🎃 Halloween Comics and illustration zine-making for children aged 7-12

The Southville Centre
Monday 26th October
3pm to 4.30pm

💥 Come and make a simple folded zine to tell a story, explore an idea, fill with nonsense or just experiment. Maybe you have a comic strip waiting to be put to paper? Or maybe you just love zombies/ ice cream/ planets or eggs and want to make a book about it! A fun and relaxed hands-on session to get creative. Facilitated by illustrator Kate Hazell.

☕️ Parents/carers are required to stay at the Southville Centre at all times. BS3 Community Cafe is open until 4pm if you need to work or look after younger siblings.

Help! My Child is Dyslexic (I Think?)

🌿 Sometimes Stroll & Chat takes you a little further than usual!

Every Tuesday at 10.30am, our Stroll & Chat group meets outside the To***co Factory, come rain or shine. It’s a relaxed and welcoming group, with friendly faces, gentle movement and plenty of time to chat, or simply listen, and enjoy the company.

But last week, their usual Tuesday walk started with a bus trip!

🦍 Eleven members of the group shared a Sprint bus and headed off together for a special trip to Bristol Zoo Project. With 50 acres of beautiful woodland and gardens to explore, there was plenty to see, including a few animals along the way!

It was a lovely chance to get out and about together and explore somewhere new.

Come along for a relaxed morning of Halloween-themed fun at our friendly Stay & Play session!

Children can decorate biscuits, get creative with Halloween crafts and colouring, and enjoy all the usual toys, games, and activities. A lovely chance to play, explore and spend time together.

No need to book – just drop in and pay at reception!

Today is The International Day of Older People. A day to promote the development of a society that works for people of all ages. The theme this year is: What’s on your doorstep?

It’s the perfect day to show you what our Monday Club have been up to! We had a new volunteer this week, plus a visit from our friends from St Monica’s Trust. The gang had loads of fun with a lively seated aerobics session!
