A HUGE shout out and thank you to sisters Robyn and Bonnie who did a toy sale for Roots and raised a huge £180 for us.

Their clever Mummy even match funded through work to boost their amazing profits!

We are so grateful to them for being so kind and generous with their toys 💓💓💓

A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers who stepped up for tonight’s shift in Bristol! Even though we weren’t able to serve our usual hot meals, your energy and dedication made the evening a huge success.

To keep offering hot food each week we urgently need cooks to join our team! You don't need to be a professional chef—just willing to prepare a hearty meal for those who need it most.

Commitment: Just once every 4 weeks

Cooking once a month makes a massive difference to our community. If you can spare a few hours to cook, drop us a DM, email or comment below to get involved! 💛

The sun was shining again and thankfully not as hot as last week (🥵) and so the nice weather called for a BBQ. Burgers and hot dogs were on offer alongside some cold salads, sandwiches, sweet treats and fruit.

It was our busiest night ever - 108 people fed!

Big thanks to Carly and Gina for cooking and to our brilliant volunteers for coming along and helping out. Special mention to Dan, Sam and Matt who carried surplus food from Greggs and Pret or bags of fruit from the supermarket!

There’s a comedy event tonight at Dareshack with proceeds going to Roots. Sam and Liz will be there to answer any questions about what we do. We hope the evening is a huge success and thank you SO much for having us. Link in comments for tickets!

The weather is set to heat up again next week but we’ll be back with heaps of water and the same, solid service. Stay safe and cool 😎
