Now that our delegates have returned home, it’s time to look back on some of the highlights of ICS 2026!

Our Annual Dinner brought the ICS community together at the historic Rebelle venue in Maastricht for an unforgettable evening of delicious food, music, dancing and celebration. 🥂

🎧 A special highlight was a fantastic DJ set from our very own special guest, Enrico Agro Finazzi from the ICS Board of Trustees, who kept the celebrations going!

Yesterday marked the conclusion of ICS 2026 in Maastricht, bringing a fantastic few days of scientific exchange, collaboration and innovation to a close. 🇳🇱

The final day began with an insightful State of the Art Lecture, The Brain and the Bladder: Relationship Between the Psyche and the Bladder, delivered by Carsten Leue and Desiree Vrijens, exploring the important connection between the brain and bladder.

ICI-8 sessions continued, alongside an impressive round table discussion from our new Robotics Surgery Committee, before the conference concluded with our closing ceremony.

A huge thank you to all our delegates, speakers, chairs, committee members, sponsors and partners for making ICS 2026 such a successful meeting.

We hope everyone has/had a safe journey home and look forward to welcoming you to ICS 2027 in Florence! 🇮🇹

Another outstanding day at MECC Maastricht, featuring a packed 25th ICS Physiotherapy Forum, our dedicated Nurses Forum, and an excellent session in the main auditorium led by our newly established Pelvic Pain Committee.

The day concluded with the ICS Annual Dinner at the stunning Rebelle Maastricht, where delegates came together for an evening of celebration, music, dancing and networking. 🥂

Day 2 of ICS 2026 – Highlights from the first day of the Scientific Programme

A fantastic first day of the Scientific Programme at MECC Maastricht, with an inspiring programme and plenty of opportunities to connect.

Our first State of the Art Lecture, Post Partum Incontinence & Prolapse: Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment, was delivered by Cristina Ros Cerro.

The Pelvic Floor Exercise Class was a great success, with a packed room and enthusiastic participation.

The day concluded with our Welcome Reception, bringing delegates together in the Exhibition Hall for live music, conversation and networking.

And the evening continues, with the Early Career Professionals Night Out and ICS Community Party still to come!

Our Workshop Day was exceptionally busy, with workshops across the programme very well attended and rooms filled with engaged delegates throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who joined our ticketed workshops, as well as those who took advantage of the increased number of FREE workshops available this year.

As we mark this special milestone at ICS 2026 in Maastricht, we’re looking back at how pelvic health physiotherapy has evolved over the past 25 years — and looking ahead to the future of research, clinical practice, education and rehabilitation.

From the growth of the evidence base to the expanding role of physiotherapy within multidisciplinary pelvic health care, there’s plenty to celebrate. 🌍
