Latest arrival - so new she doesn't even have a name yet ❤️

We were asked by a vet, yesterday, to take on this little lady - she's currently on antibiotics and painkillers as it looks like her left eye has ruptured.
She'll most likely need an enucleation which is about £800 😬

These bills are killing us but we couldn't let her suffer.

Welcome sweetheart, you're safe now ❤️

Courtesy post for our friends at Feline Fine Foundation - Holly and Molly's search for a furever home continues ❤️❤️

Holly (10) and Molly (11) have been wonderful companions to me for the last 7 months. They are very well behaved and quite adorable. Both are lap cats and Holly (I call her Holly Berry as she has a black mark on her nose) loves to sleep with me at night if she gets half a chance!

They tolerate each other quite well but Molly is a bit more playful and Holly less keen. So, that may lead to the occasional hiss, mostly they rub along together fine.
Sometimes at night Holly Berry joins Molly on the chair when she is asleep and it's lovely to see them cuddled up together.
They love being brushed and like their routine - they know when I am coming home and are at the window waiting for me, unsurprisingly I have grown to love this special pair very much. They will need somewhere where they can safely go outside as they are longing to do that so no busy roads nearby.

They are a sweet and loving pair of cats who enjoy being stroked, are not spooked by anything and settle into a new home in around 15 minutes. They are real characters and will bring enormous pleasure to anyone willing to share their home with them. Also, they don't mind when you have visitors and happily go to them. 😄

Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination with 5 weeks free insurance.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help us find Enzo his furever home ❤️

He's desperate to be out and about and is getting frustrated in foster despite his fosterers spending lots of time playing with him!

Please share him far and wide - there must be someone who wants a furry toddler 🤣🤣

Sadly Enzo is back with us as he just didn't get on with the existing cat in his new home. He'd been fine with cats before, both inside and outside the home, and the adopters did everything right but it just didn't work this time unfortunately.
So this high energy 3 yr old needs to be an only puss this time round!

He's a cheeky chappy, full of personality and plays very enthusiastically - fostermum wonders if he might have some Bengal in him somewhere.
He's desperate to be outdoors again, climbing trees and burning off some of that high octane energy so a garden away from busy roads is a must.
He's a lovely boy, intelligent, affectionate and rather handsome and needs a home with no young children (he plays to win and can get a bit carried away!) or other pets.

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.

Happy Caturday from Luna and a possible light at the end of the tunnel ❤️

Luna came to us around one year ago; she was originally adopted from a hoarding situation, needed an emergency vet within 24 hours for dehydration and has suffered chronic diarrhoea from day one.
When the owners couldn't cope any longer she came to us.
We also have a second cat Honey, a Ragdoll bought from a breeder, with exactly the same problem.

They've cost us many hundreds of pounds in investigations and treatments:
Thorough blood work including B12 and folate, and TLI to
rule out exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
Urine samples.
Multiple faecal samples and colonic washes for tritrichomonas.
Abdominal ultrasound where there were no obvious physical changes to their intestine.
We've tried steroids, metronidazole, various probiotics and multiple
different gastro intestinal or hypoallergenic diets, even anallergenic.

Nothing has helped at all :(

Recently we sent poo samples to a lab in Texas that measures 7 beneficial bacteria that should be found in a healthy cat's gut. Luna's results show she's lacking in these "good" bacteria which wasn't a surprise at all (we're still awaiting Honey's results) and that she's now a candidate for faecal transplantation from a cat with a normal gut biome.

This has a high rate of success and is her Hail Mary - there really is nothing left to try for her (or Honey) - the diarrhoea is beginning to impact their quality of life and they're both only youngsters at 2 yrs old.

We're just waiting for the call from Langford and we'll be whisking her in and keeping everything crossed, closely followed by Honey hopefully!

Meet Chicken Shop! No prizes for guessing where he was found several months ago 🤣

Once again he wasn't neutered or chipped and no owner appears to be looking for him.

"He is around 2 years old and was found on the street in Bedminster by the Chicken Shop.
He's incredibly friendly, playful and cuddly. He's now been neutered, chipped and vaccinated and is very chilled about some things - he's trained on the leash, as well as having been on public transport and carried around in a sling by his owner.

He's a bit manic about others - he was not getting on with the two older females in the house as he's so playful and he'd probably do well with a young partner in crime to create mayhem together!
He loves to climb and hunt and would love a garden away from busy roads.
He spends his time chattering at the birds through the window and chasing flies and even caught a mouse in his first week at our house!

He's super friendly - even with new people he just wants to show off and play. We absolutely adore him, but cannot provide what he needs or afford to care for him."

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.

A courtesy post for our friends at Feline Fine Foundation to help find Moon his furever home ❤️

Moon is a sweet, gentle boy looking for a calm and loving home to call his own. Around 3 years old, he has been kept as an indoor cat with supervised access in a secure garden and has a lovely, affectionate nature once he feels safe.

He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience and kindness, Moon quickly comes out of his shell. Once he trusts you, he absolutely loves a lap and a cuddle and becomes a real companion.

Moon’s previous owner sadly passed away, so he is looking for a quiet, settled home where he can feel secure again. He would be best suited to a home with no other pets or young children, where he can enjoy a peaceful environment.

He enjoys indoor playtime—especially chasing and pouncing—and also likes to watch the world go by. While he has been a mainly indoor cat, he is keen to go outside so needs a garden away from busy roads.

Moon is currently on a gastrointestinal diet while his tummy settles, which will need to be continued for now with support from Feline Fine Foundation if needed.

Moon is a lovely boy who will reward a patient adopter with lots of affection and companionship.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.

Mabel and Marzan are bonded siblings,7 yrs old, looking for a home together ❤️

Mabel is a happy, healthy cat whose two main hobbies in life are sleeping and playing!
She's sweet and affectionate but Marzan is the cuddlebug of the two. He loves being on your lap, loves being brushed and likes to sleep on you or near you.
Just two lovely friendly, well-rounded cats.

They're fine with older children but would like to be the only pets, they're definitely not keen on doggos!
Completing their wishlist is a garden away from busy roads.

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.

We have sad news to share 💔

After rescuing Emmy in a terrible state where she'd obviously been neglected for a long time, we had to say goodbye on Monday night. She had a wonderful couple of weeks with us - glorious sunshine, tasty noms, painkillers for her arthritis and we thought we would have longer but it wasn't to be sadly.

From her devoted fostermum:

"We had to say goodbye to the sweetest, most gentle soul.
Our beautiful Emmy was an incredible 24 years, but her body finally grew too tired to keep going. When she went downhill, the emergency vet helped her pass peacefully. Even though she was only with us for a short chapter of her long life, she left a permanent paw print on our hearts.
We are so grateful we could give her a safe and loving home to live out her last weeks.
Sleep well, sweet girl."

Farm/stables/smallholding type home away from busy roads needed for these pretty sisters ❤️❤️

Sophie and Duchess love each other far more than they love humans but they do appreciate it when humans bring food and treats! Unfortunately they were born feral and missed the window for socialisation.
They don't enjoy being touched at all but we have managed to get them to the vets for microchips, neutering and their vaccinations with no loss of skin :)

Duchess mostly wants to sunbathe all day and can initially be quite grumpy when interrupted but does calm down after a couple of minutes. Sophie is a little more chilled, likes to play with all sorts of toys and is happy to be around people just not touched, stroked or picked up 🤣 She will take treats from your hand with patience but that's as good as it gets. She can be set off by Duchess being in a bad mood but they do seem to genuinely find each other's presence comforting so they need to stay together. They are approximately 1 year old, very quiet (there is no meowing in the car) and fully litter trained.

Jensen is a dignified 9 yr old gentleman who isn't afraid to be a little silly when the mood takes him! ❤️

Jensen would prefer a quieter home, without young children or other pets as he can be a little jumpy around noise and sudden movements. Once he's settled in he'll happily trot over for some fussing or treats.
He's highly adept at finding hiding places you never knew you had!
Jensen likes a good ole scratch the most and will let you know with headbutts if you stop too soon. If you go on too long he'll let you know with a soft paw - this boy knows his boundaries 🤣
Jensen has a healthy appetite, he'll clean his bowl thoroughly twice a day and will run the length of the house if he thinks he's going to get a little biscuit treat!
He enjoys being with his hooman and nothing engages his killer instinct more than the red dot laser pointer. He'll chase that until the laser battery run outs or his battery runs out - whichever comes first! He also loves playing with balls and a favourite is a tennis ball - perfect for those bunny kicks.
He also enjoys looking out of window watching the birds come and go and is keen to be outdoors again so would like a garden away from busy roads.

He's a little sweetie, calm with episodes of silliness :)

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, recently had a dental plus 5 weeks free insurance.
