It was great to welcome Alex McIntyre MP to our Quedgeley services and introduce him to some of the brilliant people we support and the colleagues who make our work possible.

Conversations like this help shine a light on the experiences of people with learning disabilities and autistic people, as well as the realities facing the social care sector.

I recently had a lovely visit to Brandon Trust in Quedgeley, to meet with some of their staff and the great people they support. Brandon Trust play a vital role in the local community, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. We discussed some of the challenges facing the care sector and disabled people, as well as chatting all things Doctor Who and Harry Potter.

Jordan has achieved a really special personal milestone - going to a festival, something he’s dreamed of for years. At the end of April, he made it happen and headed to Rattler Fest at Healeys Cyder Farm 🎶

With the right encouragement and support from his team, Jordan took the lead: booking his own tickets, planning the day, and stepping into the experience with confidence. And what a success it turned out to be. From the music to the atmosphere, he embraced every moment - dancing, staying out late, and soaking up the full festival buzz.

Moments like this are what truly matter - building confidence, opening up new opportunities, and supporting people to live the lives they choose.

Our Brandon Trust team took on the Inflatable 5K on Saturday, and the day was full of fun, laughter, and amazing community spirit. A huge thank you to our wonderful Playlink families who ran for Brandon, our brilliant colleagues who took on the challenge, and our Business Development team for all their support 🙌🏼✨
