Boscombe Crescent Christmas Lights

Evening All, just thought we would let you know the plans for our displays this year.

We have decided we are not going to have a full display this year for various reasons, but will have displays up and on from Friday 21st November. These displays still consist of over 25,000 lights on one house along with a 5ft Penguin and a 6m Christmas tree with 2 x 5ft baubles on the other display.

We are still going to try and raise some money for our chosen charity Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal and may have a couple of surprise visits from the Christmas Dubs over the festive period.

If your around please feel free to come and see the displays and if your able to support us and our charity that would be very much appreciated.

The displays will be back for Christmas 2026 👍

Display’s will be on from 5pm until 10pm, from Friday 21st November until the new year.

I know it’s taken a while to get the total together but what a year we had! Thanks to every single person who donated and made this happen!

£4,523.40 was raised by the Boscombe Crescent Christmas Lights in 2024.

All for a great cause! 👍

If you’re planning to come and see the lights, tonight’s the last opportunity. Due to the weather taking a turn again we have decided to take it down tomorrow. 👍

WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING!!

We are 2 bears down, 1 Snowman, 1 Penguin and 1 Christmas tree down but this should all be sorted within the next couple of days 🤞

Lights are back on from 4.30pm - 10.30pm daily.

What a team! Absolute massive thanks to Christmas Dubs who have helped us massively tonight. We were on a flight and they were saving our displays. Absolutely amazing team effort! 👌

So this evening one of our Shine Bright family put out a bit of an SOS needing help to secure their display with the incoming storm. Some of our crew who are local(ish) to the Boscombe Crescent display went over and helped take the two big bears down, strap some of the other larger items down and generally make best endeavours to help make sure the display is still there in the morning! Never a dull day on the Christmas Dubs team! 🎅 A huge thank you to all of our team who answered the call and came out in the wind and rain to save Christmas 🎄🎁🎅

Unfortunately we have turned the lights off tonight due to the storm. Not sure what will be left after the weekend but let’s see where we are on Monday. Stay Safe.

Donations have started to go on and Decorations have started to go up, waiting on a couple more items to arrive before we are able to finish this years display. But our donations page is up and running and our switch on will be Saturday 23rd November @ 4.30pm 👍

We have had confirmation that the Christmas dubs will be joining us again which is great! We are going to go from Boscombe Crescent to the Huntsman where we will be joined by more of the Christmas Dubs and hoping to have a disco etc for the evening. Please come and join us and help us make as much as we possibly can for this great charity!
