As the colder weather sets in, residents at The Beacon and The Bridge have been busy making homemade soup from scratch. 🥕🍲 Everyone got involved with preparing the ingredients and helping out in the kitchen. A great way to spend time together and make something delicious to warm us up on a chilly day.

CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What an incredible end to the season for the Forum Football Team, who last week were crowned winners of the Liverpool Homeless Football League!

The team finished the season in style, winning all six games and deservedly lifting the trophy, which was presented by former Liverpool FC stars Sammy Lee and Chris Kirkland.

A HUGE thank you to all our players, staff and organisers who have made this season such a success. Special thanks go to Phil Blocksidge and Matty Renshaw for all their hard work, commitment and support throughout the season.

Following this fantastic success, we're now looking to recruit some new Forum residents to join our football team for next season! If you're a Forum resident and interested in joining us, please speak to Phil.

We’re proud to share this incredibly heartfelt tribute from one of our residents, recognising the kindness, compassion and humanity shown by Debbie, our Accommodation Services Manager for Northwich/Winsford.

The resident’s words beautifully capture the positive impact that kindness and support can have during life’s most difficult moments, bringing hope when it matters most.

A heartfelt thank you to Debbie and the team at Victoria House for the support you provide to our residents and for the difference you make every day. 💛

We’d like to send a huge thank you to Peter and everyone at St Helens Northwich for supporting our residents at Victoria House.

Peter joined us last week for a lovely gardening session with our residents. We had a wonderful afternoon getting out into the garden and spending time together. We’re so grateful to Peter for giving up his time. Your kindness and community spirit really do make a difference! 🌱💚

Could you spare a little time to make a big difference? We’re always looking for kind, friendly volunteers to spend time with our residents and help us create special moments, whether that’s gardening, chatting over a cuppa, sharing a hobby or helping with activities. Every little bit of time makes a difference! If you’d like to get involved and bring a smile to someone’s day please get in touch using the link below.

Our residents recently enjoyed a fantastic visit to Croxteth Park Farm, exploring this historic Victorian farm and meeting some of its amazing rare breeds. From sleepy Wensleydale sheep to hungry Highland cows, there were plenty of friendly faces to meet, animals to stroke, and treats to feed! 🐄

The visit was such a success that some of our residents are now even considering volunteering with animals! It’s lovely to see how a day out can spark new interests and create special memories.

Supported Housing Week: G’s Journey

As part of , we’re highlighting the journey of one of our residents who found support at Haven House after losing the home he had lived in for 42 years.

With his beloved dog by his side, G has found a safe place to stay while he begins working towards a new home and rebuilding his independence.

G’s story highlights what can be possible when people receive the right support, understanding and opportunities to move forward with their lives. ❤️
