In this new episode Gary and Paul speak to Dave Emberton, a new volunteer at Spider Project.

Dave speaks about how he has adapted his life after suffering from a serious medical issue which he attributes to alcohol and substance misuse.

He is particularly grateful to Fiona Allen, who is a Vocational Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist with the Acquired Brain Injury Service.

After a hugely successful Recovery Fest last week, we would like to take some time to thank all those who helped and supported Spider Project to display the unreal work of our members.

Firstly we would like to thank all our fabulous members for their hard work in producing art work, spoken word and music for the day. Thank you so much to our wonderful volunteers who supported the project and the market stalls on the day.

A massive thanks to Magenta Living for helping us move our Cloud light instillation. You removed the need for us to walk the cloud through town! 😅

The staff at including the stall holders where so kind and helpful on the day, we couldn't have asked for more, nothing was too much trouble. 😊

Finally, thank you to and Wirral Ways for asking us to be involved. Loads of wonderful stuff happens behind the Spider doors and we don't showcase this enough, so being asked to an event like Recovery Fest means so much. 🙌

If you missed us at Recovery Fest, and feel you could benefit from being part of Spider, why not pop down and see us at 56 Hamilton Street, Birkenhead or call us on 0151 647 7723
