But this time we will also be working with Pride in Place Birkenhead and Placed to gather feedback from the recovery community about the town and what's important to them.

What an amazing night last night for the Reks got talent final ❤️❤️..A huge well done to all the finalists and a massive thank you to Steve Fitch our host and JourneyMEN Wirral for putting on such an amazing show over the last 6 weeks.
To all those who took part, you were amazing and showed real courage to get up in front of a full house and perform.
But there had to be a winner, and that was Dude, who is a singer song writer known to many in the community.
His heart felt lyrics stunned the audience and judges alike and his final song...well, wow ...there wasn't a dry eye in the room ...Well done Dude, a deserved winner ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️..

Being part of the recovery community is an honour to us here at Rek 41. Watching people grow and turn their lives around with the support of fantastic organisations within the recovery village in Birkenhead is truly fantastic. As part of the recovery village, Rek41 offers a safe place in the evening and of a weekend for those wanting to socialise in a sober environment.
Our aim, has always been to bring the community together and create a stronger, happier, healthier Birkenhead. Our founder often talks about the importance of community in recovery and that of the wider community, creating a sense of love, respect, inclusion, hope, alongside many other positive aspects attached to a strong sense of community and therefore events like this are important and such a fantastic way to bring the community together. Whilst Rek41 is not represented formally at this event, we will hopefully see you all there, supporting these organisations as they bring the community together ❤️💪👍

Good Morning all,

Wow what an unbelievably busy month we've had, seeing around 500 customers a week. We've had talent shows, open mics, pool matches, comedy nights and much more happening.
Whilst these activities are fantastic and really help people, we are still working extremely hard alongside our friends and partners JourneyMEN Wirral to offer support and signposting to anyone who needs it.
Addiction is our primary focus but with that, more often than not, comes mental health issues.
Due to the increase in customers and presentation for other issues, including mental health, homelessness, money issues, housing etc, we have now brought in two voluntary pathway support workers to better support those who are struggling.
Dave and Kelly are lovely people who are both qualified in mental health support and much more and will be able to best sign post and support our fantastic customers to ensure we are providing the best as always for our customers who mean the world to us.
They will be available Mon - Friday for anyone to pop in for a chat
