Emotional, practical and peer-support for parent-carers raising children with additional care needs. Our office is based in Vale House, Vale Park, Wallasey.

The Positivitree is a charity and mental wellbeing organisation on a mission to empower parents & carers of children with additional health or care needs with self-care tools and experiences that improve wellbeing. The main focus of the organisation is on the wellbeing and self-care of the parent-carer community. We aim to provide several useful events and activities suited around the responsibilities and time constraints of parents/carers. Some of these include workshops, online groups and coffee mornings. The organisation was first set up when our founders had their own experience of being carers for their son and found that the best way to cope was to surround themselves with positive support, using coaches and mentors to improve their mindset. We now provide other parents/carers with this same opportunity to improve their mindset and wellbeing when coping with the difficulties of caring for children. Our aim is to address the needs of the parents/carers by offering these services in the hope that by teaching them the power of self-care that they can apply this to their everyday life, thus improving the lives of themselves and their family. We are supported by funding from National Lottery Community Fund and Community Foundation Merseyside as well as Liverpool One Foundation. And are also grateful for kind donations from our supporters in the community. Events held by The Positivitree are based online and at various venues around the Liverpool City Region. Our team of trustees and volunteers are what make the organisation and we are excited to bring you along on our growth journey.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our Stay & Play sessions this week! 🍁🎃 We had an absolute blast together.

From collecting autumn leaves to make beautiful wreaths, to getting creative with Halloween crafts and having fun playing outside, the energy was amazing! 🍂✨

Our favorite part? Seeing children and parent-carers making connections, building friendships, and sharing lived experiences with one another. ❤️

A special thank you to Bromborough, Brassey Gardens, and Seacombe Family Hubs for hosting us, and to our wonderful staff and volunteers for making these sessions happen! 🌟

🦷 FREE Dental Care for Children Aged 3-7!

Wirral Council and Dentaid The Dental Charity are providing free dental sessions this October half-term for local children who currently have no other access to dental care. Appointments are required, so please contact the hubs directly to book!
