Today at Devonshire Days we’ve been enjoying a creative and colourful activity, painting terracotta pots. It’s been a lovely opportunity for everyone to get involved, express their creativity, and add a personal touch to their designs.🎨

A big thank you to Oh Polly for kindly providing the craft kits we’ve been using, they have made the session even more enjoyable and helped us bring extra colour and fun into our day.

Activities like this are a great way to relax, connect with others, and brighten up our services, and we’re looking forward to seeing all the finished pots proudly on display!

SAVE THE DATE.......... Saturday 25th July
We are looking for stall holders for our fabulous SUMMER FAIR!!!
we would like Cakes & bakes, handmade goods, bespoke items, small homemade food traders etc...
There will be a small fee for a table, the date is Saturday 25th JULY 12 noon - 3pm. The event will take place outdoors in our beautiful Village grounds, we do however have a wet weather contingency plan should the great British weather let us down!

A huge thank you to SKY for providing help for us at the Devonshire Centre Birkenhead. They did a grand job clearing and jet washing and even had time to nip into our pub 🍺.
We value the charity days that Sky provide for us and the hard work that they do.

This Volunteers' Week, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers. Your time, commitment, and support help us make a positive difference every day, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

We would also like to thank Sky for their support through corporate volunteering. Their team's enthusiasm and willingness to get involved have made a valuable contribution to our work and the community we serve.

A special thank you goes to Wirral CVS for providing funding that has enabled us to facilitate our volunteer catch-ups. These sessions give our volunteers the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and feel supported in their roles, helping to strengthen our volunteer community.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide practical and emotional support, help individuals access services, promote wellbeing, and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable older people.

Last week Linda, Julia and Andrea hosted a delightful Victorian Tea at Stanhope Court, bringing residents, friends and family together for an afternoon of delicious treats, conversation and community spirit.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and supported the event, an amazing £435 was raised.
