💚 A little thank you from Opal 💚
Sometimes people may see the same children playing with the same things week in, week out, but there is so much more behind what we do at Opal.
Our sessions are child-led. We give our children and young people choices and allow them to follow their own interests, without forcing them to take part in activities they don’t want to do. We encourage, support and join in with them, but ultimately, their choice matters. 💚
Working with children and young people is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be hard work. As a charity, we struggle month to month to keep Opal going, but our amazing staff continue to give their all. They work so hard to make every session safe, welcoming, fun and enjoyable for every child and young person who attends. 🌈
We are so incredibly proud of our team and everything they do. They really are amazing at what they do, and we couldn’t do this without them. ❤️
A HUGE THANK YOU also goes to everyone who has helped us fundraise, donated, supported our fundraising events or simply made a donation over the past 3½ years. 🙏💚
