We are excited to share that our Erasmus+ KA2 project Decode the Hate has officially begun! 🎉

Last week (20-24 April), we held our kick-off meeting in Copenhagen 🇩🇰 together with our partners from Porto, Fajdp - Federação das Associações Juvenis do Distrito do Porto 🇵🇹 and Berlin, Comparative Research Network 🇩🇪.

During these days, we laid the foundation for a project that aims to address hate speech and disinformation, both online and offline. One of the highlights was an engaging session with Leif Lønsmann at Friends of Crossing Borders, where we explored and clarified key concepts such as fake news, misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, and propaganda.

Over the next months, Decode the Hate will focus on empowering young people and youth workers through digital literacy, critical thinking, and active citizenship, while building a network of engaged participants ready to challenge hate speech in their communities.

📢 We will soon share opportunities to participate in trainings and activities, so stay tuned if you want to get involved!

👉 Follow our journey and be part of the change

This project is co-financed by Erasmus+ Juventude/ Desporto & CES and carried out in partnership with FAJDP and CRN.
