Fashion Revolution Denmark er en Forening i Danmark Fashion Revolution Danmark ønsker at være med til at sætte fokus på en mere transparent modeindustri.

Den globale modeindustri er uigennemsigtigt, udnyttende og miljøskadelige og der er desperat behov for revolutionær forandring. Vi elsker mode, men vi ønsker ikke vores tøj skal blive produceret på bekostning af mennesker eller vores planet. Fashion Revolution er en global bevægelse som kalder på større gennemsigtighed, bæredygtighed og etik i modebranchen. Vi ønsker at forene modebranchen og antæ

bærer er lavet på en sikker, ren og retfærdig måde. Fashion Revolution Week er vores kampagne i april, hvilket sker på tidspunktet for Rana Plaza fabrikkens kollaps, hvor 1.138 mennesker blev dræbt og mange flere såret den 24. april 2013. Vi bruger denne uge til at tilskynde millioner af mennesker til at spørge brands "who made my clothes" og kræve større gennemsigtighed i mode forsyningskæden.

Now we’re looking for community volunteers to help us take the next step.

What if your old bedsheets became your new favourite pair of pants? 👖✨

Tonight at the Circular Creative Community, we’re turning discarded bedsheets into comfortable balloon pants, while learning how to reuse textile waste!

No experience needed. As always, our workshops are beginner-friendly, and we’ll guide you through the process step by step.

💚 WE DID IT 💚

On Saturday, Unwasted Festival brought together approximately 350 visitors and more than 60 volunteers, speakers, artists, designers, performers, and community members to explore what fashion can become when we move beyond trends.

What we saw was a day filled with conversations, creativity, repair, learning, music, new connections, and a shared desire to imagine a different future for fashion ♻️

To everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, performed, exhibited, facilitated a workshop, joined a panel, or simply stopped by to be part of the day:

Events like this are only possible because of community. We’re still processing everything that happened, but for now, we’re simply feeling grateful.

🪡 UPCYCLING WORKSHOPS AT UNWASTED FESTIVAL 🪡

One of the things we love most about Unwasted Festival is that it isn’t just a place to talk about sustainability, it is a place to make it.

Throughout the day, you can drop by our workshop area and explore different ways of repairing, transforming, and reimagining textiles.

✨ Learn creative repair techniques with Red Rabbit .works
🧵 Discover embroidery repair and transfer printing with Textilskolen
🌸 Turn textile scraps into flowers carrying messages for the city with Maja & Liv
🐢 Create playful textile turtles from leftover materials with Anders Vagn Kodahl (only until 15)

All workshops are beginner-friendly, open throughout the festival, and designed to show how creativity can give new life to textile waste.

At Unwasted Festival, you’ll discover artists, designers, makers, and creative initiatives working with upcycling, textile waste, craftsmanship, alternative materials, and new ways of creating.

Unwasted Paths in Fashion: How to make a living as a fashion designer without following fast-fashion trends

The fashion industry often presents a narrow definition of success: more collections, more growth, more consumption.

♻️But what happens when designers choose a different path?

For this panel, we bring together educators, entrepreneurs, designers, and emerging creatives who are actively exploring alternative ways of working: through upcycling, craftsmanship, circular business models, community building, and responsible production.

Together, we’ll discuss the realities, challenges, and opportunities of building a meaningful career in fashion while staying true to your values.

Panel Discussion 1 | Unwasted Festival 2026 💚

“Copenhagen: The City Where Trends Go to Die”

A phrase we first heard during Copenhagen Fashion Week. It stayed with us.

The more we thought about it, the more questions it raised. What is a trend? Why do we follow it? What happens when it dies? And is that something to celebrate, question, or both?

Rather than answering these questions ourselves, we decided to open the conversation.

For this panel, we are bringing together voices from fashion, design, sustainability, and creative practice to explore what lies beyond the constant cycle of newness and how Copenhagen’s fashion landscape might evolve with or without trends.

• Else Skjold – Associate Professor, researcher, and one of Denmark’s leading voices on fashion and textile sustainability.
