Fashion Revolution Denmark er en Forening i Danmark Fashion Revolution Danmark ønsker at være med til at sætte fokus på en mere transparent modeindustri.

Den globale modeindustri er uigennemsigtigt, udnyttende og miljøskadelige og der er desperat behov for revolutionær forandring. Vi elsker mode, men vi ønsker ikke vores tøj skal blive produceret på bekostning af mennesker eller vores planet. Fashion Revolution er en global bevægelse som kalder på større gennemsigtighed, bæredygtighed og etik i modebranchen. Vi ønsker at forene modebranchen og antænde en revolution til radikalt at ændre den måde, vores tøj er indkøbt, produceret og købt, så hvad verden
bærer er lavet på en sikker, ren og retfærdig måde. Fashion Revolution Week er vores kampagne i april, hvilket sker på tidspunktet for Rana Plaza fabrikkens kollaps, hvor 1.138 mennesker blev dræbt og mange flere såret den 24. april 2013. Vi bruger denne uge til at tilskynde millioner af mennesker til at spørge brands "who made my clothes" og kræve større gennemsigtighed i mode forsyningskæden.

Less scrolling, more knitting! 🧶💚

What if we spent a little less time on our phones and a little more time creating with our hands?

This Wednesday, our lovely volunteer Olivia is inviting you to slow down, learn a new skill and discover the possibilities of upcycled yarn!

Together, we’ll learn some basic knitting techniques while creating a little fortune pouch using yarn that deserves a second life. ♻️

✨ Beginner-friendly! Whether you’ve never held knitting needles before or already know your way around them, everyone is welcome.

🤖Today, Wednesday, we’re exploring the intersection of fashion, robotics and the future of textile production 💚

We’re welcoming Uljana, a special guest, who is developing a robot capable of making clothes!

Together, we’ll explore how robotics could help make local production more economically viable in Europe, reduce the need to transport garments across the world, eradicate overproduction and offer alternatives to production systems that rely on exploitative labour practices.

Come curious, bring your questions, and join the conversation! 💚 The talk is continued by the upcycling workshop!

This Wednesday, join us for Patchworked T-shirt, a workshop led by one of our amazing volunteers!

❤️‍🔥Learn how to combine textile pieces and transform them into your own patchworked T-shirt playing with colours, textures and shapes!

We will use textiles from the textile library at Sydhavn Genbrugscenter

No experience needed. Come experiment, learn a new skill and make alongside our community.

A community that shares its knowledge. 💚

One of the things we love seeing most is when participants become teachers too.

One of our community members took the lead and shared a technique she already knew with the rest of the group.

Because a community isn’t built around one person having all the answers. It grows when everyone brings something to the table: a skill, an idea, a technique, or simply the willingness to help someone else.

You come to learn. One day, you might be the one teaching.

That’s the kind of circular spirit we like to create. ♻️🧵
