8:00 – 8:45PM: Friends of Music’s, Moodswing Orchestra

4:00PM - 6:00PM: Sparkle Magic with Buddy the Elf and Little Local – kid-friendly obstacle course and crafts that glow

✨🎅🎄What a night! Our Christmas Dinner & Dance brought together good music, good food and even better company. We're so grateful for ALL of our amazing volunteers and musicians who pulled together to put on this event for 200 guests! A truly outstanding effort! We also offer our sincere thanks to the Camosun Culinary students for cooking the Turkeys, and each of the mental health housing sites that brought delicious dishes and desserts for our buffet.

Here's to carrying this joy and community spirit into the season ahead!

The halls are decked!🎄 We're ready for the Christmas Dinner & dance! 🤩 Each year we invite our guests of honour from the local mental health housing sites to join us for this special event, with live music featuring our 4 of our bands!

Time to shine! We're proud to announce Friends of Music's performance dates at ✨Lights of Wonder✨ hosted by the Downtown Victoria Business Association! Centennial Square is transformed into a holiday wonderland, with magical light exhibits, a ferris wheel, light tunnel, live outdoor entertainment, food trucks and more! Admission is FREE and the event runs from November 29th – December 31st. Lift your spirits with music through the month of December!

RSVP TO VOLUNTEER AT THE 🎄💚 CHRISTMAS DINNER & DANCE!💚🎄

Join us at the Da Vinci Centre for a night filled with fantastic music, a mouthwatering turkey dinner, and loads of holiday fun! FOM Music Society is hosting this festive extravaganza for our special guests, the residents and staff of local Mental Health Housing Sites.

We're pulling out all the stops, with our amazing musicians providing the evening’s entertainment! We need lots of volunteers to help us make the magic happen! We need set-up crew (arrive at 10am to set up tables and place settings), servers, kitchen runners, greeters, clean-up crew, drink station monitors, and equipment transport
(for music equipment, supplies etc...).

All volunteers are welcome to stay, enjoy the meal, and dance the night away!

New holiday gigs are booked! We’re re-releasing our November–December newsletter with fresh concert announcements you won’t want to miss! Visit the homepage of our website for a link to our newseletter, or check your inbox (if you've subscribed by email) for all the details.

We have 11 brand new concert and performance opportunities through the holiday season! We’ll be tuning up our best festive and feel-good songs, for the Christmas Dinner & Dance, and Downtown Victoria’s Lights of Wonder. The Fundamentals will be bringing out their Christmas song books. All are welcome to drop in to this group, to sing along or play your favorite instrument. We’re also proud to share that our musicians will be spreading joy directly to local care homes and mental health housing sites—with melodies that embody the spirit of the season.
