Announcement: We are changing the format for this meeting to run a Table Topics contest. The winner of this club contest will move on to compete at the area contest and beyond if they win the area. We need all hands on deck to run this contest as everyone has roles.
Table Topics Contest details follow:
Toastmaster
Prepare a single table topic question. Contestants will be escorted out of the room and out of earshot. Contestants will be returned one at a time to respond to the same table topic question.
Timing
Green at 1:00min; hold the card up for 30 sec; Yellow at 1:30 min; hold the card up for 30 sec; Red at 2:00min; card to remain up until speaker has finished
No signal to contestant re: overtime disqualification
Speech times for each contestant are to be noted on the timer form.
Toastmasters are to be advised in private regarding disqualification (less than 1 minute; more than 2 minutes)

Counter
Collect Judges ballots and count for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Note the contestant's name at the top of the judge’s form.
Assess each item and give a weight
Fill out the judging ballot and pass the bottom part to the counters
Destroy the top part of the form
