1,400 duvets. 48 minutes. Two staff and a team of volunteers. 💛

That’s how quickly Working Gear’s first shipment went out into the community. As the weather gets colder, warm bedding is a basic need, and the response shows just how much it’s needed.

We’re a small charity bringing together donated supplies, community partners and volunteers to get practical help to people, free of charge. We’re proud of what our team made possible.

To everyone who missed out: we’re sorry we couldn’t reach you this time. Another 2,400 duvets are arriving Tuesday, September 22! Please email us with your request for pickup details. Distribution is first-come, first-served; requests aren’t reservations.

Please be patient and kind with our two staff and volunteers as we manage this alongside our regular services.

Help us spread the warmth: share this with someone who needs bedding—or someone who could help fund storage, space or paid peer support so we can distribute more.
