Last week, BCCIC hosted a roundtable with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency Representative in Canada, Tracey Maulfair, bringing together organizations and advocates advancing the rights and wellbeing of refugees and newcomers in Canada.

The conversation explored the current challenges affecting refugees and immigrants, insights on UNHCR’s current priorities and future directions, pathways to strengthen refugee protection and settlement in Canada, and opportunities to deepen collaboration.

This was such an engaging discussion and we're so grateful to everyone who participated in and supported the event.
