And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Care & Share Campaign! 💛

Together, with your support, we were able to raise money to help fight hunger in our community. When neighbours and friends come together, the impact goes far beyond a number — it’s a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we show up for one another.

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated, as well as all of the Community Partners who helped spread the word throughout the village. Big shoutout to to Buck's Hard Goods, The Cookery Store and Ocular Canada!

On World Hunger Day, we’re reminded that food insecurity is something many people in our city and community face every single day. At Bloor West Food Bank, we want to do our part to support our friends and neighbours however we can. The Care & Share Campaign is one of the ways we’re helping make a difference. 💛

May is Hunger Awareness Month, and we’re proud to annnounce our 2nd annual Care & Share Campaign! 💙

From May 17-31, the Bloor West Food Bank will be working toward a goal of raising $2,500 to support neighbours facing food insecurity in our community.

Since 2020, we’ve helped thousands of individuals and families access nutritious food — and with the growing need, every contribution makes a difference.

You’ll find Care & Share posters displayed in storefronts throughout Bloor West Village thanks to the support of our incredible local business partners. All you have to do is scan the QR code to directly donate through Canada Helps.

Last weekend, our first-ever Empty Bowls Dinner & Silent Auction was SOLD OUT! With 125 guests attending - and many more supporting through our silent auction and donations - we raised over $21,000 to help fight hunger.

Every bowl taken home tells the story of a community united in compassion and care.
