🏃‍♀️ 3 DAYS UNTIL RACE DAY! 🏃‍♂️

Help us cross our fundraising finish line!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we've already raised $16,500 towards our $20,000 goal! We're getting so close!

With our 5K walkers and runners hitting the streets on Saturday, and our half-marathon runner taking on the distance on Sunday, we're hoping to reach that finish line together!

At Bloor West Food Bank, we believe that Nobody Should Go Hungry. Every week, we work to provide a safe, welcoming space where our clients can access nutritious food and choose groceries that meet their families' needs. Every dollar raised helps us continue this important work.

Thanksgiving made special by our community! 🧡🦃

Last Thursday and Friday, Bloor West Food Bank served over 950 people, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for the families we support.

We were fortunate to receive donations of 140 turkeys, dozens of pumpkin pies, and a $5,000 gift that allowed us to purchase 200 whole chickens, 100 hams and 100 pork tenderloins for our clients.

Drop by and say hello at the Ukrainian Festival this weekend! 🌻 👋

Bloor West Food Bank supports over 375 households every week, including many Ukrainian families who turned to the Food Bank when they arrived in Toronto.

Today, about 30% of the families we serve are Ukrainian.

You can find us on Bloor St. W between Durie St. and Windermere Ave, near St. Pius X Catholic Church. We are collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations.

A little goes a long way - and together, we can help make sure no one in our community goes hungry. 💙

On September 1, our very own Karen Allmen was recognized at the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards for her continued dedication to the Bloor West Food Bank. ❤️

And there was also an extra-special BWFB connection - Parkdale-High Park MPP Alexa Gilmour, one of the founders of the Bloor West Food Bank, was among the presenters!

✨ What a show! ✨ Thanks to our amazing community, our annual Theatre Night fundraiser brought out a great crowd and raised over $4,400 in support of the Bloor West Food Bank.
