The Canadian Chapter, since 1984, has been one of the most active long term chapters in FCSI. The Canadian Chapter has been active since 1984 and has been one of the most active long term chapters in FCSI’s world. We host several events each year including an annual fund raising dinner in support of the FCSI Educational Foundation, a Bi-annual General Meeting and several educational programs perio
dically throughout the year. We are well supported by our local members and by our industry allies who help to make all of our endeavors a great success. The Canadian Chapter has a special category of membership in the form of a "Regional Allied” membership that allows regionally based manufacturers, distributors and Manufacturer’s Agents to participate in our activities. The Canadian Chapter has contributed several professional members to active participation on the FCSI North American Board of Trustees as well as the FCSI Worldwide Board of Directors, including presidents of FCSI as well as FFCS. FCSI Canada has been fortunate in having been selected to host two FCSI worldwide conferences in Vancouver (1996) and Toronto (2004).
