A screen full of raise hands!

Our new Study and Stay NL cohort kicked off this week with "Skills Translation in the Workplace", led by Tanya Davis. The session tackled a challenge many international graduates know well: showing an employer what you can bring when your experience comes from academics, research, or a different professional setting. Participants practised turning their academic and professional experience into clear, jargon-free examples that employers can connect with.

Cohort 10 is officially here!

Last Friday, we hosted the in-person orientation for our newest group of participants, marking an important milestone for the program. Ten cohorts in, our commitment remains the same: supporting international students as they build meaningful careers and lasting roots in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Over the coming months, participants will engage in professional development, mentorship, entrepreneurship development and community connections designed to help them thrive in the province beyond graduation.

Double digits, double the energy. Welcome, Cohort 10!

Today we kicked off our first session, Program Overview and Expectations, with the newest cohort of the Study and Stay NL program. Over 100 students from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador and College of the North Atlantic across the province joined us with so much energy and curiosity.

We look forward to supporting their journey as they build connections, grow their skills, and plan their future in Newfoundland and Labrador.
