To assist with fostering a real, live performance community in our province for the HipHop community, we have decided we require the following during some events unless an acceptance is made:

Artists are not to perform over a song mixed for the radio or Spotify. Instead, artists will be required to provide performance ready instrumentals which can include adlibs, doubles and a hook.

If anyone has any questions, comments or concerns regarding this, please feel free to contact us.

This effort is being made to reduce the karaoke culture in our hiphop community, which may boost our ability as a community to be accepted by broader musicians and musician resources here in the province.

On May 9th, 2026 - is hosting an award show at !! This event will include a very large part of the local hip hop community here in Newfoundland and will also include artists and creators from other provinces!

During this event, we will be presenting a new award!! It’s called “The Creative Excellence Award”!

This award will be presented to the artist who has the judges votes in creativity, quality, engagement, social media presence and live performance, based on what’s available online.

All artists who entered to win an award with and , will automatically be entered for this award. (Excluding artists who participate as judges).

Backed by 3 Canadian Choice Awards, 5+ years in business, 80+ events hosted, 20+ new artists introduced to the community, over 500 songs recorded while giving back more than $5000 to our community and helping artists secure more than 100k in funding!
