We are saddened by the passing of Sandra Goodpipe, a longtime volunteer and much-loved member of the Carmichael community.

Sandra gave her time to both our Boutique and Kitchen, where she was always ready to help and always had a smile. She was kind-hearted, hardworking and positive, and she had a way of simply getting things done without complaint. She was also someone who never had a bad word to say about others, and that says a lot about the kind of person she was.

We are so grateful for the many years Sandra spent with us and for the kindness she brought with her each time she came through our doors. She will be missed by the staff, volunteers and community members who had the opportunity to know her.
Our thoughts are with Sandra’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Thank you, Sandra, for all that you gave to Carmichael. We were lucky to have you. ❤️

Join us in celebrating and thanking Convergint in Regina for bringing an entire team to Carmichael in June to volunteer. Each year, this company does a volunteer day where they choose an organization to go support with volunteer hours and this year they decided to come to Carmichael!

These incredible people helped out in so many different areas that day it was hard to keep track of how many wonderful things they accomplished! They helped sort food hampers, cleaned out rooms, fixed our cameras, cooked and served lunch, sorted clothing in the boutique, hung up racks, and shared positivity and good vibes to all the staff and guests.

We are so incredible grateful for their dedication, time, and willingness to help out! Thank you so much again Convergint Technologies Team!
