What started as a passing comment of "Oh no, we're going to run out this week!!" has resulted in a generous donation from Our Lady of Guadalupe & Prism Choir!

Here at TLC Pantry, we not only serve 130+ lunches a day, we also have small amount of personal hygiene products! Previously, period products were needed only occasionally or a few times a week. Now? It is a daily ask and we keep running through our stock faster than ever.
(maybe it's because we've becoming busier 🤔crazy.)

Great news! This summer, we received approval from the CRA and now have our very own charitable number! 🥳🥳

What does that mean? It means we're officially our own independent entity. We can now issue tax receipts, apply for grants directly under our name, and really grow our ability to serve.

A special shoutout first to the now closed Trinity Lutheran Church, who allowed this program to start, and continue under and with them, and then second, for the past several months to New Hope Lutheran Church, who took us under their umbrella to let us continue our works with their support. We couldn’t have gotten here without them.

While there's always more to do, this is a huge milestone for us. It empowers us to keep moving forward, make decisions that truly represent our board, our volunteers, and most importantly, the people we’re here to serve.

Some important information for the community.

Hello Community,

We would like to let everyone know that the Carmichael Community Cupboard will be closing on October 30, 2026 and will remain closed during the winter months.

Although the Community Cupboard will be closing, Carmichael Outreach will have a designated space inside our building to accept and store food donations for the community.

If you have food donations that you would like to contribute, please don’t hesitate to contact Carmichael Outreach at 306-757-2235.

We truly appreciate everyone who has supported the Community Cupboard and contributed to helping our community. Your generosity makes a difference.

The bottles are finally here! 🥳

A heartfelt and huge thank you to Affinity Credit Union for generously funding this year's water project!

As you can see, Charles the Third and Charles the Fourth are absolutely thrilled to be able to support our community with these fresh, new bottles for this summer season! 🐧🐧

We've already been so busy distributing them to our smiling, grateful community members!

Here's some news from us!

Curious about our work? Here's a look at the first six months of this year.

We have served many individuals at the pantry! Some are regular visitors, while an increasing number are new to our services. When people say "every donation helps," they are speaking truth.

This progress wouldn't be possible without the support of grants, monetary and physical donations, and our dedicated volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has contributed this year—and in previous years—to help us continue supporting our community.
