Today, we remember the children who never returned home from residential schools and honour Survivors, their families, and communities.

For many, this is their own story, or the story of someone they love. As we take time to learn and listen, we also remember that Indigenous young people deserve to grow up safe, connected to their cultures, and proud of who they are.

Take a few minutes today to read Phyllis’s story, listen to Survivors who have chosen to share their experiences, and think about what you can carry forward beyond September 30.

Talking about su***de can be hard. Knowing where to get support and how to respond when you’re worried about someone, can help.
