Mike Stefaniuk is the Director of Business Development (IoT and Digital Transformation) at SaskTel. He and his team are responsible for identifying and developing next generation services and business models, often working closely with customers and partners, with particular emphasis on IoT, Analytics, and AI. As the path of this journey is not clear and obvious, Mike and team must use a broad set of tools and techniques to identify and work through problems to come up with solutions.

This presentation will highlight some of the tools and approaches used to identify, test, validate, and implement these solutions, highlighting how to think and the importance of storytelling.

Peter Nordstrom is many things. IT professional with the Government of Saskatchewan, soldier, Signaller, cyborg, father, husband, poet and author. His studies include human responses to change, the adoption of tools, philosophy, metaphysics and sensemaking. His primary interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to aid in the safe adoption and organizational risk management. Some of his current favorite scholars are Peter Zeihan, Daniel Schmachtenberger, Dr. John Vervaeke, Rene Girard and Jonathan Haidt. His favorite AI related science fiction is Frank Herbert’s Dune Series (and the extended prequels compiled by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
