The Princess Show features an award winning original electronic score by Aaron Collier along with a full seventy-minute projection designed show. At the time of creation, Collier and his cohorts were obsessed with anime. They wanted to try to put anime elements into live performance. The result was driving beats and fantastical landscapes.

Don’t miss your chance to see this mesmerizing performance onstage!

Tim Houston strikes again. "The budget allocated for the prizes and celebration will be moved to our grant programs for 2026-27 to help offset budget reductions in those areas."
As the producer and curator of the past five awards shows, HEIST has had an amazing time helping to uplift the community with this event, showcase (and contract) many Nova Scotian artists and work with people across the province in multiple disciplines.
We will certainly miss this event and the people we meet and collaborate with because of it.

The Arts Nova Scotia Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to pause the Creative Nova Scotia Awards program in 2026. Nominations for the awards will not be accepted in this year; however, it is our intention to resume intake for a re-tooled awards program in 2027.
