Dalhousie Student Union

Dalhousie Student Union The DSU is here because of you. Our activities fall under four main categories:

Advocacy - Uniting our collective voices, speaking up on behalf of students.

Representing over 19,000 students in Halifax, we advocate for student rights, build community on campus through events, support over 300 societies, and provide focused services to foster a supportive and positive student experience. Seriously, that’s why we’re here — If you are a Dalhousie student, you paid $127.28 for us to advocate, support, entertain and represent you throughout your university

career. Community - Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive campus culture. Events - Encouraging the personal and professional development of our members. Services - Providing member services, society services, print services & more!

It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and we hope you’re feeling lucky, because YOU have a chance to WIN an iPad (with Apple Pencil) or a Nintendo Switch 2! 🍀🌈

All you have to do is join our coin hunt and find the hidden coin 🫣 The prizes are first come first serve, so whoever wins first gets the first pick! Time is ticking, so keep your eyes peeled…

Here’s how it works:

📍 Each campus has 1 coin (1 prize per campus!)
🔍 Alternating hints will drop at 8 and 8:30 on our story (1 for each campus, you’ll be able to tell by the different backgrounds)
👀 New hints are released every hour. They just get easier and easier!

The lucky winners will find a gold coin with a verification message attached. Bring it to the SUB front desk, and claim your prize!

Please be respectful and mindful of others while hunting. The coins will only be hidden in publicly-accessible areas. You will NOT find them in any private spaces, including but not limited to, offices, classrooms or residences. Thank you for your cooperation. HAPPY HUNTING! 🔍

*NOTE: On the off chance that there is a delayed opening, keep your eye on our socials for updates on the Coin Hunt.
