Chebucto Connections Yet, barriers do exist and can hold back individuals, families and the greater community. That’s where Chebucto Connections comes in.

We work within the community, with partners and people, to create inclusive spaces
and personalized programs to help people access what they need to move forward. Communities thrive when its residents feel empowered and can access the services and resources they need and the opportunities that benefit them and the community as a whole. We work within the community, with partners and people, to create inclusive spaces and personalized programs to help people access what they need to move forward. We see the potential within each person we work with, and we draw on the power of the community to help make
lasting change. Our vision is to be a part of a thriving, inclusive community where everyone has equitable access to services and opportunity. Our mission is to find impactful solutions that help address a range of social needs in our community. As a community service hub, our mandate is to build connections and create spaces and programs that help people access what they need to move forward. HUB: A collective impact approach to improve service access and delivery in the
Eastern Chebucto Peninsula. Our Hub provides access to a central space to bring
services into the Spryfield area to improve service accessibility. Community Food Market: A universal access market bringing affordable fresh produce, eggs and bread to Spryfield and surrounding communities. Using a dignity first approach we provide an opportunity for residents to access nutrient dense produce at low or no cost them. Diagnosing Poverty - Prescribing Possibility: A partnership with community
health practitioners to connect patients who are struggling with poverty to our outreach team. Our outreach team helps residents connect to relevant community resources such as income, legal, food and housing supports. Pathways to Education: A wrap around program designed to increase graduation rates and post secondary success. The program uses one on one, academic, financial and social supports to work with grades 9-12 in the Spryfield area.

A Huge Thank You to Wynward Insurance Group and United Way!
A big thank you to everyone at Wynward Insurance Group and United Way for connecting us with these thoughtful warming kits to support people experiencing homelessness in our community.
As the colder, wetter weather sets in, we’ve already received a lot of interest in hand warmers and rainproof items this week. These kits couldn’t have arrived at a better time and are meaningful way to show care, offer support and remind people that their community has not forgotten them.

❤️ THANK YOU, TARTAN COFFEE! ☕🥫

A huge thank you to tartan_coffee_company for choosing to support Chebucto Connections during their final weekend of the season at Di**le Park!

We’re so grateful for their generosity and for helping raise awareness of the need for food support in our community. Every non-perishable food item donated helps us support local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity here in Spryfield.

If you’re stopping by for one last coffee in the park this weekend, consider bringing along a non-perishable food item to donate!

Thank you Tartan Coffee and everyone who contributes to making our community a stronger, more connected place. 💚

Together, we’re building connections to build community!

FOOD DRIVE AND FINAL WEEKEND OF THE SEASON

As another season comes to an end, this weekend will be the last for the Tartan trailer at Di**le Park this year!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us this season! ❤️

This weekend, we also want to give back to our community!

We’ll be hosting a food drive in support of Chebucto Connections ( Chebucto Connections ) in Spryfield. If you’re stopping by for a coffee, we’d love for you to bring along a non-perishable food item to help support local families in need.

It’s a small way we can come together and make a difference in our community.

While the trailer is wrapping up for the season, we’re getting ready to welcome you to our new café located at 1565 South Park street opening very soon!

Come join us for one last coffee in the park, help us support a great local organization, and celebrate another wonderful season!

COFFEE. ENJOYED.
