With Halloween quickly approaching, EDS Atlantic wanted to share a little Halloween safety reminder!🎃

Planning to carve a pumpkin this year? Leave the carving to a trusted adult and consider using a battery-operated candle to light up your creation instead of an open flame. Have a safe and fun Halloween!

EDS Specialist Martina Stephens had a great conversation with cadets in Hampton, NB!

The group spent an evening learning together and sharing EDS materials, including badges, challenge coins, pins, documents, and colouring pages.

This is the beginning of a partnership focused on teaching youth important emergency management skills, including ICS training, emotional and spiritual care, and their roles during an EDS activation!

Getting ready for a “Night Light Mission” on the town. On this cool night, we served hot stew, sandwiches, and fruit.

📍Disaster Risk Reduction Day

In every weather, location and emergency–our EDS community response unit is there for Canadians. Today on International , we’re reminded that preparation before a disaster strikes is just as important as the response after.

We invite you to visit salvationarmy.ca/eds to create your own home emergency kit. Also, keep an eye on our social media channels for emergency preparedness webinars.

Join us in funding programs that strengthen communities before disaster strikes.

Our condolences are with the families, friends, and loved ones of the individuals lost during a medical air transport from Bermuda to Boston.
Bermuda is part of the Atlantic Division, and we are keeping the community in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. ❤️

We extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, colleagues and loved ones of Captain Philip Childerhose, First Officer Thomas Farquhar, Flight Nurse Sarah Paton and Respiratory Therapist Jolene Weir, who tragically lost their lives in the aircraft incident near Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.

These dedicated professionals came to Bermuda to provide an important service that has supported individuals and families during some of life’s most difficult moments. We are deeply grateful for their service and the care they provided to our community.
