On a walk in the Park yesterday, I came across a photographer taking photos of an albino red squirrel. He told me he has been photographing 4 of these squirrels over the past year and a half. Apparently there is a genetic mutation that produces an unusual number of of albino individuals in the Park. The photographer, John House, agreed to send me a few of his photographs and also kindly agreed to having them posted on our page so other Friends of Fleming Park could see them as well. Thank you John!
